Despite the Villa Almoezia's wonderful views of Taormina being shrouded in fog, our host, Sebastiano, did his level best to make us feel both welcome and comfortable. Villa Almoezia would be truly stunning in kinder weather. We stayed in several places in Sicily during our three week stay in March/April 2015 and nowhere else was Sebastiano's hospitality surpassed. This extended... More

What a quaint, beautiful, clean, well-run establishment. We were looking for a relaxing place away from all of the tourists, but close enough to all the sites, and that is what we found. We actually arrived at night in pitch darkness, and so had no idea just how beautiful the view would be when we woke up. It was a... More

My husband and I would like to tell to the whole world that Sebastiano, owner of Villa Almoezia is the most honourable and honest man we have ever met. After a night stay at his relaxing and picturesque villa, we left the next morning to continue our venture in Sicily. To cut this short we already had driven substantially away... More

After the challenging drive up the hairpins to Via Madonna la Roca from the chaos of Taormina far below, Sebastiano's welcome and the amazing outlook from the terrace of the villa soon put us at ease. The guest rooms are below the terrace, which helps to keep them cool on a hot day. Our room was small but very clean,... More

Villa Almoezia has a setting with stunnning views in all directions with several terraces and a pool area to enjoy them all. The pool has a lovely location and views and is very refreshing on a hot Sicilian afternoon. There are only five rooms so you practically have a private retreat. Sebastiano and Rita are very warm and welcoming. Their... More

What a beautiful setting. The pool and the views over Taormina and to Castelmola are truly stunning. Sebastiano and Rita are wonderful welcoming hosts. The rooms are full of Sicilian charm. We'd love to go back. It's possible to walk down to Taormina in under half an hour, and there is a bus back. Castelmola is worth seeing and a... More

Spectacular location - views to die for. Pool at the end of a winding track past pomegranates, lemons and grapes - perched on the edge of a cliff with panoramas across the bay. Truly wonderful. Short walk down the stairs to the main city, honestly not very far. We climbed back up in 10 minutes. Sebastiano was wonderfully welcoming and... More

The view from the large outdoor terrace was absolutely breathtaking. Sebastiano and his wife were very friendly and helpful. It is quite a hike down to town but that is what makes the views so delightful! We walked down and sometimes took a cab back up. It's a very reasonably priced B&B. Taormina is a must-see place in Sicily! You... More

Villa Almoezia is a great choice for your stay in Taormina. The place itself is not in the center but provides a delightful view for Taormina's center and a splendid view of Etna few steps away! Taormina's center is around 20 minutes down the staircase - easy, well maintainted and with lights at night - a very pleasant walk with... More
