We sent 2 nights in this wonderful hotel in February 2012. As soon as you walked into the hotel you were made to feel special. All staff were very welcoming and incredibly helpful. The location was very central and walking distance to everything. The day we arrived, there was a huge carnival in the main square, which really added to... More

The hotel location is perfect, the staff was most helpful and could not do enough to make us welcome. Room was large with a view of the sea. My only negative was that their was no shower only a bathtub with a hand device. We went in January and it was very quiet so we did not experience the hotel... More

Transfer from cataina airport to hotel was arranged by hotel. Excellent taxi driver, belted himself and drove safely. Room 222 had a XXL bed, and a view to the sea. Bathroom plated with red marble. Bathtup instead shower. Room service two times a day. Breakfast was good. We choose cheese. Every day we got other sorts. Dinner in Restaurant was... More

The minute you enter El Jebel you are welcomed as a treasured guest into an exquisite private home. The hotel is a 14th century Arabic palace that in 2010 was turned into a small luxury hotel with only 10 rooms, each with a different decor. Ours was a junior suite on the first floor, overlooking the duomo and the sea... More

My husband and I were going to book this hotel for a three night stay in September. However when we checked the prices on the hotel's website, we found that unless you pay the full amount in advance the cost of the room is almost doubled. We have travelled a great deal and this is the first time we have... More

Dear tripadvisor user, Many thanks for your time spent to write an extraordinary review about our hotel without staying in! Sincerely we do not understand where the point is, you checked the on-line prices and as you say if you pay in advance you can save a good amount of money. We do offer different promotions with different booking policy... More

My wife and I stayed here two nights in January 2012. Taormina is a very beautiful place and the hotel is well located to help you experience the town. As you can probably tell from the name, the hotel has an Arab theme and everything is tastefully and beautifully done along these lines. The rooms are large and beautiful and... More

We stayed at the el Jebel hotel for 2 nights in a Junior Suite. The staff were excellent helping us with our luggage from the car park. There was also a long flight of steps leading up the reception of the hotel. Our Juniour Suite was well appointed and we happy to set a baby cot in our room as... More

This place is unique. Small hotel so a "homey" feel, yet the lap of luxury. Been to several other five stars in Taormina that are stuffy, geared towards tourists, decorated with heavy fabrics and lots of ornate items, etc. This was like a breath of fresh air in comparison. We stayed in a mid-size suite. It was large, done completely... More
