El Jebel offers a great location and extremely comfortable rooms. Very family orientated as well as for couples. Great views of Taormina and the coastline. Rooftop restaurant is a must if staying there. The staff were very friendly and felt right at home immediately. Very helpful staff in assisting in planning our days. Very much worth a stay.

We visited in April, a two night stay before exploring the rest of Sicily. Our room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom a good size and well appointed. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful, giving good local recommendations and driving directions. It's a bit annoying having to park away from the hotel itself but the building is lovely and... More

We stayed at this wonderful hotel this spring and we were delighted with the beautiful accomodation and very friendly staff. Maybe just one thing that could have been better - the roof top terrace is amazing, but unfortunately not used (at least not off season, maybe it is different in summer) - it would have been a real treat to... We stayed in this beautiful place in June 2014. The hotel has about 10 rooms which ensures you feel at home. The decor and furnishings are tasteful and luxurious. The hotel restaurant serves a wonderful breakfast and we ate dinner there one evening, beautiful food and such a romantic setting on the roof terrace with stunning views of Etna.Antonio and... More

Spent 2 nights here in early July. The hotel is located right in the centre of the beautiful town of Taormina, just a stone's throw (even a fairly terrible throw would do...) from the main pedestrian street of Corsa Umberto. Despite the proximity to the bustling streets, the hotel is absolutely silent inside. The hotel itself has only 10 rooms,... More

One of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of experiencing. The hotel only has 10 rooms on three floors set in a passageway up 38 steps from the busy main pedestrian street, Corsa Umberto. But it's tranquil and quiet. A glass elevator whisks you to your floor, so you can appreciate the view over the bay. Our suite... More

Where do I start?! What an amazing hotel. We had our Irish wedding here with 60 guests in June 2014 and it was perfection personified. Location: Right in the middle of Corso Umberto, El Jebel has the most spectacular roof top area. We had our drinks reception & cutting of the cake up here & our guests were awestruck by... More

We have stayed in many 5 star hotels - most of them huge grand palace style venues. El Jebel is extraordinary as it's a 5 star hotel with only 10 rooms. The result of this is that the 5 star service is much more discrete and personal. You ask for something at the reception desk and it just happens -... More

We recently stayed for 5 nights at the El Jebel for our wedding which also meant all of our guests occupied the whole hotel for 2 nights at the end of May. This was not the first time we had visited the El Jebel but the first time staying; and it was the best. We have stayed at other hotels... More

We recently had our wedding reception at El Jebel and couldn’t recommend this venue more highly!! On the day, we were fortunate to have lovely weather and were able to make use of both the beautiful roof terrace and restaurant. The food was divine, beautifully presented and had generous servings – we even had guests devastated that they couldn’t try... More
