I echo the sentiments of other reviewers that Francesco is the nicest host/concierge I've ever come across in my entire life. Genuine, sweet, always helpful. I will always remember him. I did not meet the other proprietor mentioned in other reviews. Our apartment was huge and clean with 12 ft ceilings and attractive furnishings and two good sized balconies overlooking... More

Situated near the Temple of Apollo on Ortigia Island these apartments are in a perfect position for visiting Siracusa. Just off a main shopping street and close to the fabulous local food market. Plenty of restaurants and bars are close by and it's only a few minutes walk across the bridge to the new town. The apartment we stayed in... More

Francesco the manager was extremely nice, we stayed in Arco Antico for 6 nights. the location is excellent in Ortiggia. near nice shops and restaurants, hotel is quiet, clean, Francesco even programmed the taxi to pick us up in the airport of Catania at midnite and the driver drove us to the hotel, Francesco greeted us and helped us with... There are lots of positives about this apartment. The location is good, at the north end of the island of Ortigia, not far from the bridge across, so you have good access to the rest of Ortigia plus also the train station and buses which are in the other part of town. They are about a 20 minute walk away.... More

Arco Antico is in the very centre of Syracuse's Isola Ortigia, just off one of the high streets. It's run by two friendly guys, with lots of advice for our stay and always available on phone or in reception. It's a small aparthotel, no breakfast. The rooms are modern and relatively spacious and the building is quaintly old.

These rental apartments are ideally located to explore the lovely island of Ortigia, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Francesco recommended great restaurants and sight-seeing spots nearby, so it's worth asking for his advice. The flat was very spacious, very elegantly decorated and very clean. It was unfortunately a little bit noisy, as it overlooked a main street,... More

Located near the temple of Apollo in the center of old town, the apartment was very convenient - walking access to ruins, the puppet theatre, beach / inlet, coastal walk, the Piazza di Athena and grocery store(s). No wifi which really sucked - even though it said it did have wifi. You could get it if you sat out the... More

If only we could have stayed longer. Staff - just a wonderful friendly, happy young man at reception. When he wasn't there he wasn't too far away. Just a quick call and he was back as a flash. Apartment - everything you would need. We booked an apartment for 2 people and we had kitchen. lounge and dining. Bedroom and... More
