A design conscious person's delight; exposed rough stone wall juxtaposed with a crystal chandelier in our bedroom - nice! Caravaggio style painting in lounge with all white furniture and antique wall and grandfather clocks. Well stocked with art books. Delightfully delicate breakfast - no bacon and egg! Situated a 10 minute walk away from the station, 10 minutes to the... More

The staff, the hotel location, the rooms and the cleaniless of the hotel were excellent. Particular attention is given to the infrastructure (i.e. Ginori pieces in the bathroom, leather chairs, luxury mattresses, etc.). Breakfast was also really good. There is also a parking lot in front of the hotel (10 € per day). But there is a big BUT: the... More

My husband and I stayed at the Cavalieri hotel for our anniversary. Upon check in, the front desk surprised us by upgrading our room to the Suerior room. What a fabulous anniversary gift! The superior was spacious, well decorated and absolutely beautiful. The windows were floor to ceiling. The service was exactly would you expect at a 4 star luxury... More

I had such an enjoyable stay in Hotel Cavalieri, I booked for two nights but stayed five deciding to take some day trips from there rather than continue on my journey around the island. The building is beautifully restored, elegant, contemporary and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, a wide selection of fruit, cheese and home made cakes was provided. The... More

This hotel looks like nothing from the outside but you enter a totally renovated, very modern atmosphere. The rooms are on the small side and very clean. The bathroom is also clean and modern. Breakfast was okay, nothing outstanding. The location is wonderful, just blocks from the bridge to Ortyga.

We - 4 old friends - stayed at this marvellous hotel for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute. The hotel Building has been renovated totally in a very exclusive style and constitutes a total beautiful unit. No breach to the architectual plan has been allowed. The management and the staff did complete our positive impression of the hotel showing a... More

This hotel is well located to see all the local interesting sights. A two night stay meant you could cover it all - it's archeological sites, historic buildings, delightful town, market and fabulous restaurants. It is proudly family run, spotlessly clean and simply stylish - good breakfast and friendly hospitality.

This elegant hotel provides nice bed and breakfast accommodation in a very convenient location for tourists. It is very close to Ortigia and also not too far from the Archeological Park. If you do not want to walk, the (very cheap) buses to both leave frequently from very near the hotel. There are also nice cafes (and some restaurants and... More

the hotel is well located near the two bridges into ortygia though quite a distance on foot to the main archaeological site. It is worthwhile booking one of the hotel's parking spaces right outside it tho' a charge is made for this we had a suite which was reasonably well soundproofed from the main thoroughfare below from all but the... What a wonderful staff this hotel has! Knowledgable, friendly and professional. We had a lovely room, and the breakfast was super! Fresh, Sicilian orange juice made my husband very happy! Centrally located, but long walks to the ruins. You must see the Greek and roman theaters! Most of our time was spent just over the bridge in Ortigia, dining, shopping... More
