Room was clean, quiet and basic. Good location. Free parking. Easy walk to sites. Problem disco music on Thursday, probably all weekend, we left on Friday, Music did end at midnight. Desk had some good recemendations for restaurants close by.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakkios Residence. We'd booked several months ahead and were offered a free room upgrade upon our arrival so got the first-floor suite overlooking the harbour, a huge room, beautifully decorated, with a high ceiling and exposed beams. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location also turned out to be a good one as... More

We loved Lakkios Residence. Our family of four were very comfortable in the large, spacious suite. The room was comfortable and beautifully furnished with antiques and comforts of home, such as extra blankets and bath slippers. The staff were so friendly and helpful. In fact, they responded promptly and personally to several inquiries we wrote via email prior to our... More

Overlooking the smaller harbour, large by any comparisons, the delightful and well run Lakkios was a delight. Our ground floor room had its own small patio was spacious and clean and although close to traffic was completely soundproof. The parking was free in front and the few yards to the colourful harbour with fishermen mending nets, playing cards and the... More

You couldn't get any closer to the harbour at Siracusa if you tried. Although the area seams a bit dubious from the rear approach to Lakkios, drive alongside and park in the front of the hotel which nestles independently in a delightful cosy corner of the harbour with views of fishing boats and local old sailors seated around makeshift tables... We loved everything about Lakkios Residence during our recent two night stay on Easter weekend– the prompt and helpful email communications, the large comfortable room with little window looking directly out onto the small port with colourful boats, nets, and fishermen, the easy free parking area, the great breakfast with special Easter cake, and the lovely, friendly staff. It is... More

My husband, 15 year old son and I recently stayed one night at the Lakkios in the ground floor triple room. While the room was not large, it was efficient, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We were concerned about noise when we saw how close the nearby roads were, but the room was exceptionally quiet at night. The... More

Both the staff and the owners family were very nice, personal and helpful. Having found out that I could not find a free table in the next door very popular fish restaurant "Red Moon" they phoned the restaurant and the table was miraculously found. They also helped me to rent a scooter. All such assistance ever more valuable as very... More

A lovely little hotel in a nice building near the small fishing port which gives it a good atmosphere. We had views of the water and the old town from our room which was great. Our room was good - clean and well equipped. The girls who work at the hotel are really friendly and helpful. There is loads of... More

We stayed in the suite for 3 nights, and we enjoyd it. The room was spacius, with a little kitchen and a nice view to the harbour. Parking was free. We had very good breakfast and the room was cleaned every day and towels changed. The aircon was perfect and the staff friedly and most helpfull.
