We (couple with two children) spent a wonderful few days here - it should have been longer! The old part of Syracuse (Ortygia) is an unsung gem of a place, with baroque and older delights everywhere, and this place is right in the middle of it (take a taxi from the railway station). We stayed here at Aretusa for 3 nights and had such a wonderful stay. the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hosts are lovely and helpful. it is also very resonably priced. we arrived by taxi from the train station which was 10 euro, and i think worth it cause ortygia would be hard to to get around... more

We have stayed in the B&B for 3 nights. The location is good. You may take the free bus #20 from main bus station to reach Piazza del Duomo. Aretusa Vacanze is a good little find: centrally located, great value for money, clean, comfortable rooms, and useful little roof terrace (you can see the sea in the distance over the elegantly crumbly rooftops of Ortygia).
