This is a lovely hotel and the staff were always very friendly. The breakfast each morning was very fresh and you could enjoy this outside on the terrace. If recommend visiting the solarium on the roof for amazing views of the harbours. The hotel is located very close to a number of restaurants and is only a short distance from... More

We stayed here for 3 nights after an appalling stay at the Hotel Centrale. See other review We arrived at 12 and even though check in wasnt until 1pm we was allowed into the room. It was immaculate and smelt so fresh and clean. What a change from the other place we stayed. The bathroom whilst old retains a charm... More

We had a room overlooking the yacht harbour so that we could see and hear the sea. The room itself was unremarkable, but the hotel was in a great location and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a daily food market about 100 metres distant that was worth more than one visit.

Nice staff and excellent located in the old town of Syracusa very close to the fruit and fish market. I would stay there again. The hotel has been recently renovated. The rooms are clean a bit narrow but with extreamly high ceiling.

La Posta is in about as good a position as you can have in Siracusa. Well placed in Ortygia but also handy to the mainland and the remarkable archaeological park in the north. We walked there and it took about half an hour from the hotel. There are many good restaurants close to La Posta which adds to the convenience.... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in August 2014. It was very difficult to find an affordable hotel in this area as it is becoming increasingly expensive(its a UNESCO World Heritage site now and the hotels prices are going up accordingly) However we were not disappointed with our choice of this hotel, it represented very good value for... Spent two nights here and it is in a great location for visiting the old quarter of Ortigia with good public parking just round the corner and over the road. Staff were extremely helpful and breakfast was very good. The room was quiet despite its central location. Lots of restaurants and cafes around and the street market close by. Very... More

We booked this centrally located hotel in advance and weren’t disappointed. It’s right by the short bridge that links the island of Ortigia with the main town of Siracusa, and we were given a large double-aspect corner room with fine views over the harbour. Everything was within easy walking distance – not least Piazza Duomo, which I’d venture to say... More

After we finally found the hotel, we were a bit disappointed in our accomodations. Firstly the parking availability was terrible. There was a parking lot close to the hotel, but it was not free and was often full. The free parking was a bit further away, but practically impossible to find a spot. We actually went out at one o'clock... More

Great welcome on check in by Marily on reception, was offered a drink which came in very handy in the oppressive heat. Although travelling solo, the bed wasn't a crampy one in which u cannot move.Hotel a few steps away from a wonderful fish /veg market.Breakfast more then plentiful and theWIFI very fast. Only negative points which to be fair didn't... More
