An old hotel on a one way street. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and a good value. Wi-Fi is only available in certain rooms. Breakfast had a good selection but we never saw anything replenished. It is in a very convienient location to historic center, restaurants and markets. There is now a hop on and off... More

We had a spacious room with a big bathroom attached. The inner courtyard is very pleasant. The staff was nice and helpful. There´s a supermarket and several cafe´s and small bars nearby and the historic centre Ortigia is only a 10 minute walk. The train station and the bus station are also nearby. The wifi wasn´t too great, worked in... More

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. We arrived on Monday and there was a little confusion with parking as the streets near the hotel are cleaned on Monday nights and park is not allowed. Otherwise there is on street parking close by when available. Our room was on the ground floor with a door to the terrace. Room was... More

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I liked the courtyard which was relaxing and the sense of trust around the place. Breakfast was ok for 2 star and everyone who works there is friendly and will go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The location is great as it is up the road from the bus station... More

I stayed here two nights and was pleased about the friendliness of the owner and the staff. It was clean and comfortable and had nice places to sit outside. Location is perfect. I would recommend it greatly.

We stayed 2 nights at Casa Mia. Great rooms, spotless, very good bathroom, nice breakfast. It is only a 10 minutes walk to the old historic centre of Syracusa. We visited the little museum of the papyrus, very nice at Via Nizza 14.

This hotel is in a great location: close to Ortygia without having the price tag associated with the island. It is an easy walk to both the island and the main town centre, including the archeological park, and the train station. Our room was a good size, bed comfortable (once we got extra pillows), and had all we needed. Breakfast... More

The location of this hotel is great as it's only a 10 minute walk over the bridge to Ortigia. We had room 3 which along with rooms 1-7 is part of a little annexed bit outside of the main building. The room itself was a good size, and the staff nice and friendly. We were also able to park outside... More

We travel a lot in budget-style places and don't see ourselves as too fussy. On the good side, the location is central to the historical ruins, Ortygia and the train station; however, we just found too many things not so good at the Casa Mia. While some by themselves seem trivial, they all added up to an overall disappointing stay.... More

The hotel is charming. It is an old building with lots of character and very central to the Roman & Greek ruins and also to Ortygia. The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent and the staff are great. They were very welcoming and provided lots of advice on where to visit. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay... More
