We stayed 2 nights at Casa Mia. Great rooms, spotless, very good bathroom, nice breakfast. It is only a 10 minutes walk to the old historic centre of Syracusa. We visited the little museum of the papyrus, very nice at Via Nizza 14.

This hotel is in a great location: close to Ortygia without having the price tag associated with the island. It is an easy walk to both the island and the main town centre, including the archeological park, and the train station. Our room was a good size, bed comfortable (once we got extra pillows), and had all we needed. Breakfast... More

The location of this hotel is great as it's only a 10 minute walk over the bridge to Ortigia. We had room 3 which along with rooms 1-7 is part of a little annexed bit outside of the main building. The room itself was a good size, and the staff nice and friendly. We were also able to park outside... More

We travel a lot in budget-style places and don't see ourselves as too fussy. On the good side, the location is central to the historical ruins, Ortygia and the train station; however, we just found too many things not so good at the Casa Mia. While some by themselves seem trivial, they all added up to an overall disappointing stay.... More

The hotel is charming. It is an old building with lots of character and very central to the Roman & Greek ruins and also to Ortygia. The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent and the staff are great. They were very welcoming and provided lots of advice on where to visit. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay... More

Great location, clean and beautifully furnished rooms. Tastely and delicious breakfast. Exceptionally friendly staff. Our thanks goes to beautiful and elegant Donatella for taking her time to explain and give all the information we needed. We are very greatful for this unforgettable stay.

Nice Hotel and good service. Our room was big and very clean. The location, the breakfast and even the wi-fi in the suite was outstanding. You can experience luxury in enormous rooms. The location is simply one of the best in town. Rooms are bright and fabulously furnished and well equipped. Thank you

This is a very charming B&B with friendly, informative staff. The bountiful breakfast buffet includes a wide variety of foods. It's only 3 blocks away from Ortygia, so it's close to the sights, but without Ortygian prices. Great value for money. If you're driving, be advised that the GoogleMap directions are wrong.

Many good points: location, terrace, good service. If you get a discount online, it's a good value! But the management and the rooms are not less personal than in any hotel. The breakfast looks fancy but is of no special interest.

The hotel really is where the maps say it is, but there is no sign; just a discreet brass plate by the bell. Parking is quite easy in surrounding streets. Our room faced the inner courtyard and was peaceful; very nicely adapted old building.
