There are only 2 reasons I even gave this hotel 1 star. 1) Location is perfect for visiting the archeological park 2) Maria of the wait staff. She went above and beyond. Otherwise! The food was horrible. We had shoe leather (roast beef) and baby food (frozen string beans that were over cooked). The shower stall was moldy. The shower... More

Other than the archeological park, there's nothing in the vicinity of this hotel except for retail shops, so walking to a restaurant for dinner is out of the question. There is off-street parking but space is limited, so you may or may not find a place to park. The bar is a joke; they were out of such cocktail staples... More

A real disappointment. Not a four star - youth-hostel at best and we stayed at way better youth-hostels around the world. Walls as thick as a cardboard-box. Small room - tiny window - a real dump. But nice and friendly staff and good starting point for archeological sites.

This is an old hotel that has been spruced up a bit with new furniture. Floors old and noisy. Walls paper thin. Bathrooms old and not very clean. Restaurant was poor serving frozen food overcooked and they had the nerve to list the chief's name on the menu. Wifi worked only near the elevator not in the room. Pillows were... More

After having read some of the Trip Advisor reviews of this hotel, my husband and I decided to book a one-night stay there while in Sicily. Unfortunately, this hotel fell far short of my expectations. The hotel is located on a very busy main street in Siracusa, and was therefore less than quiet and restful. The gentleman that greeted us... More

All in all quite a good hotel, parking, close to archaeological park. But cleanliness poor. Male cleaner, no eye for dirt esp in bathroom. Other areas of hotel similar, disconcerting. Breakfast also could be improved Front desk o.k.

Spent two nights in a room overlooking the street. First night new guests arrived very late and I could hear every voice, footstep, bathroom visit etc. Plumbing at 0600 the following morning woke me up. Second night there was a guy next door who had an extremely loud very long phone call between 2300 and about 0400. Tried getting him... More

Stayed here as part of a tour group. This hotel is located on a busy main road and as a result there is noise wherever your room is located..and for most of the night. Air conditioning was dodgy, on one minute then off.Sent an e-mail in advance to ask for a room away from road and lift noise...my friend and... More

I stayed in this hotel just for a couple of hours and I left it before breakfast time, so unfortunately I cannot comment about that service. The hotel has been totally refurbished recently and welcome its guests with a nice lobby. They have a free car park just beside the main entrance. My hotel room was nice and very clean.... More
