What a great Grand Hotel this is. Originally built by a rich lady from Austria, Maria Teresa Laudien, for her lover Mr Politi. She still sits quietly smiling in front of the hotel. The hotel is a short ride from the center of town and close to the archaeological site with the large Greek Temple. It's surrounded by deep ravines... More

This hotel pays tribute to it's name, it's classic, beautiful and grand. It's a historic landmark which has kept it's charm through time. It has a big restaurant, a bar, an iconic pool, a grandiose lobby with several sitting areas ideal for reading a good book while sipping a glass of wine. Most importantly, the rooms break the stereotype of... More

Splendid the Grand Hotel Villa Politi, in all seasons: in summer you enjoy the sea and the large pool, in winter the warmth of the fire in the lit fireplaces, a walk in our gardens, a run in the bike lane, confident that all staff it fills you with "pampering". Thank you for choosing us and for your comment. The... More

We stayed here for 10 nights in October. It is a beautiful old Hotel and the room was large and tastefully decorated with a large bathroom. We stayed in the room immediately behind the flagpoles and couldn't fault it. The food in the restaurant was very good - both the breakfast and also the evening meals. The hotel is in... More

It is true, we had a little trouble with the boiler which has lowered the hot water temperature of some degree, now completely solved. I confess it’s a real pleasure, especially when was in holiday, to stay a few minutes more in the shower between steam water ... and I' m sorry if this has not been possible the last... More

The hotel had only cold water on on arrival but despite promises the water never was warmer than tepid. This condition existed for a number of people on the tour. The hotel would have been a grand place is the past. the grounds are extraordinary. It is also an expensive cab ride to the centre of town

kind guests, I apologize for the lukewarm water you had in the room during your stay, promptly reported on trip advisor. But it springs to my mind a thought: who your comment will be worth? In addition to a temporary technical problem, you had other irregularities? The hotel did not meet your expectations? The breakfast was perhaps poor? the staff... More

We stayed in the hotel in the end of October, 2015. It's Great hotel with deep history and amazing view on gardens in quarries. Free parking. Staff is friendly, speak English and ready to help. The hotel is located little bit far from Ortygia - about 20-30 min by walk. And 15 min from archaeological park. Sea is about 5... More

The Grand Hotel Villa Politi is a classic hotel in the grand sense. The location is a block from the Mediterranean and adjacent to a public park that features archaeological features. During World War II Winston Churchill stayed at the hotel, and his time there is fondly remembered. Our room was nicely sized and had the usual features. It had... More

It's a really nice hotel . Excellent restaurant. They Evan made Real American coffee for our tour group. It's clean and the staff is very nice. It's not centrally located so you will need a cab or bus to get around.

The setting in the quarries is unique, but the location is a long way from anywhere else you might want to go to in Siracusa. We had a Classic room on the 3rd floor which we were very happy with. Dear Guests of Grand Hotel Villa Politi, I'm happy to answer to your comment.
