We stayed at Porto Turistico for five nights in July this year as part of our trip to Sicily. The B&B and the hospitality of the friendly owner, Sebastiano far exceeded our expectations. The location was also perfect - right opposite the harbour in Ortygia with everything in easy walking distance but was still peaceful enough at night. Sebastiano gave... More

Absolutely loved this place. The host was excellent and his recommendation of an off the beaten ice cream place was foodie heaven. The room was fab, large, gorgeous filled with off beat individual furniture (no mdf in sight). You could definitely take a turn about the room a la period drama. Location perfect. Loved it, will come back if back... More

We stayed at Porto Turistico for 3 nights, it was fantastic. I highly recommend it. We had the "up room", it was really like an apartment on the top floor of the building. Large bedroom. Lounge room kitchen, bathroom and a private roof top garden with fantastic views. Sebastiano, the owner could not have been more helpful, recommending restaurants, things... More

We stayed three nights here and were lucky enough to have the top room. Fantastic view overlooking the harbor and a big private terrace to relax in the afternoon sun. Room was large, clean and nicely decorated. Sebastiono is great (fluent English), we followed his advice on restaurants and we weren't disappointed. He also suggested going to Noto for half... More

Great location in old Siracusa. Large and nice room. The manager Sebastiano was very friendly and extremely helpful. His recommendations for places to visit and restaurants were very pertinent. I had to be in Catania airport very early in the morning, when there were no buses circulating. Sebastiano drove me himself. Unbeatable price compared to shuttle services of other Siracusa... More

We had two great days in the baroque city centre of Syracuse! Porto Turistico B+B is a beautiful old "palace like" building located at the harbour. It's a great place to stay and Sebastiano is a very nice and helpful host! Trust his restaurant recommendations!

Sebastiano was a great host. Laid back, relaxed and very accommodating. There's nothing he wouldn't do for the comfort of his guests. Sebastiano speaks very good English and was happy to tell us all about the region and about the attractions of the area. The apartment was very spacious and clean with a very authentic Sicilian townhouse feeling. We loved... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Porto Turistico in early June 2013, while travelling around eastern Sicily. After a very friendly welcome from Sebastiano, we were shown our beautiful room. This was furnished in a traditional Sicilian style, with amazing views across the harbour. The room was spotlessly clean, with a great bathroom and entrance hall, and additional double... More

Everything about this B&B was fantastic. Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and charming. The breakfast, served at a nearby cafe, was a real treat. And Sebastiano is an amazing host -- his tips on where to go and what to see really made a difference.

The B&B is an old stylish building, but very comfortable. We had the room with a view on the port, which was really beautiful. The room was huge. Actually, it was a full apartment, which includes another room (so if you want to you can sleep with 4 persons). The bathroom alone was already as large as some other hotels'... More
