We stayed at the "Globetrotter" for three nights and we had a wonderful stay. The b&b is perfectly located in the center of the old-town in Ortygia. It was easy to park the car and you can easily reach all the sights by foot. We highly recommend the archeological parc and the St. Giovanni catacombs. We also did a one-day-excursion... More

This place is perfect for travelers that are looking for a cheap but great hotel! The rooms are lovely, with big windows which allows an amazing view of town. Cozy and well prepared, this B&B has everything you need. Also, the staff is very friendly and always eager to help. Luciano took us to local shops and showed us around.... More

My friend and I stayed at Globetrotter for one night only, but hadn't we had something else arranged for the next days, we would have happily stayed for longer. The owner, Giovanni, was very welcoming and helpful and makes the place feel like home. Our room was nice, cosy and clean, with a nice view from the balcony. The building... More

The Globetrotter is located in the centre of the old town and has great spacious rooms with balconies. Excellent views from the roof, including Etna on a clear day. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and recommended very good sights and excellent restaurants in the area. Great value for money too - highly recommended.

I stayed 4 nights here. My room was lovely, with a big balcony. The location is excellent - lots of narrow streets to explore, with lots of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. My host was fantastic! The breakfasts were great.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed for 7 nights at B&B Globetrotter during February and we had a great holiday. The location is superb for exploring Ortigia as the B&B is right at the heart of the island, no more than a few minute's walk from the Duomo or the bus stops. Our host, Giovanni, was warm and welcoming and over... More

I stayed here during October 2014, and had a very nice stay. Close to Piazza Duomo and walkable to the best venue in Siracuse. The owner and staff were very friendly and told me about the best places to visit and eat (cheaper and better than the tourist guides). The rooms were clean and nice. Its a great price to... More

Nothing to complain. Nice host, who speaks English and was always keen to help and recommend places. Room was okay as well. Breakfast could be ordered the day before for a very small price. Towels were provided, Wifi signal was a bit weak in the room.

Just back from sicily and stayed in globetrotters b&b in syracuse. Myself and three friends stayed here, we had two rooms, both were excellent and also had balconies. The b&b is ideally located in ortigia a short walk away from the train and bus station and is easy to find. The big selling point was giovanni who was extremely helpful... More

Neat b&b with excellent, central location. Giovanni - born and bread in Syracuse - can provide you with great advice on things to check out in the city. Guests share breakfast table, great occasion to have a chat with other guests. Spacious, clean rooms, free wifi and one common computer. Breathtaking (!!) view of the sea and the city from... More
