Excellently located for attractions of Ortigia, while providing a tranquil haven to escape from the crowds. Beautiful property and rooms with every detail taken care of. The breakfast deserves a special mention, arguably one of the best we've ever enjoyed - the quality and variety every day was very impressive.

We stayed recently for 10 days and found this hotel a little haven away from the bustle of Ortigia. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely individual rooms. Lovely and quiet, a gem hidden away. Local area is a bit sadly neglected, but the marina and yachts next door make an interesting spectacle. Don't expect a lively nightlife, for that to... More

Sat on beach on last day of stay writing this. Fantastic place accommodation is of very high quality and food and service second to none. Local area is a bit unloved and a bit of a hike to other restaurants and bars but worth a visit as resort is lovely and staff very friendly and helpful

We stayed with friends at Musciara last September and it was a dream. Although we originally wanted to be on the island of Ortiga we made the right choice with this hotel as the fact that it had its own small private beach made all the difference, and the walk in and out of the town in the evening was... If you are going to Syracuse there is one place you must stay and it is here! We spent 11 days going round Sicily and stayed in several different hotels and without a doubt this was far the best! Our room overlooked the ocean and was wonderful to close the shutters over at night, leaving the doors opened and being... More

You will not be disappointed by booking this resort. So much gorgeous detail - its all wonderful. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke to the same - heavenly. The buffet breakfast is the best I have had anywhere, lots of fresh Sicilian produce baked on the premises and the most idyllic location, by the clear... More

This hotel is great, the rooms are well kept and very nicely decorated in line with the overall interior design of the hotel. You can see that it is very managed by a family with a small army of staff ready to help you with drinks on the beach or anything you require in the room. The private beach is... More

Musciara was one of the guest houses we chose to stay at on our 2 week round trip of Sicily Overall: Located on the main land facing the Siracuse peninsula right on the sea front. The luxury hotel has seen a lot of money spent in interior and exterior design and offers a high level of service. Kind of expected... More

although the hotel itself is quite beautiful and well situated... having its own beach was very welcome, the manager was quite cold to the point of rude to me and my friends upon arriving and most of our staying... that is until we paid the bill. the rest if the staff was very accommodating considering every time we made a... Sicilian hospitality comes naturally to the Pallone family who own and run the exclusive, Musciara Resort - a jewel of a hotel situated on a private, crescent moon of golden beach just outside the ancient island of Ortigia in Siracusa, Sicily. With emphasis placed on the finer details, Salvatore Pallone and his sister, Laura know how to make each guest... More
