Well located close to all amenities with parking very close by. Finer points - drainage not great in shower, hair dryers dodgy and shower very small in one unit. Biggest criticism is picking up key at different location to apartment, especially with small streets & parking situation when you first arrive. Though overall good location

Okay first of all look at the last review written on Tripadvisor.com, it's from November 2012, almost 10 months ago. I found this hotel through the recommendation of someone who stayed there a year ago. The pictures and reviews on trip advisor look great and my friend reserved a room immediately putting the deposit on her Amex. When we arrived... More

Excellent location in the heart of Ortigia. Just an apartment for rent - no B&B. if you come by car agree with the owners as the official entry into Ortigia is highly limited. Come in autumn and consider visiting Noto and Catania while you are in Ortigia.

We arrived very late and disoriented having driven from Palermo, getting very lost on the local roads, but our host was waiting for us and led us on his scooter by moonlight round the magical island of Ortigia (think Dubrovnik with a Sicilian twist), through lovely winding streets and finally through a large wooden doorway to a courtyard, which our... We stayed in "limone" apartment. Lovely big room. Steep steps up to a lovely private balcony up on roof of apartment which had table & chairs. Check in for apartment is at Not'art boutique hotel about 10-15 minute walk from apartment. We arrived by train and the member of staff (really sorry forgot his name - he was very helpful... More

Lovely big room, comfortable bed, hard pillows, very dirty floor rug (we rolled this up, and hid the funny furry cushions) noisy air-con due to power fluctuations, big roof terrace but with steepish steps to get there, comfortable dining chairs and good parasol and two sun chairs; we preferred it to the more expensive hotel we stayed at in Taormina!

Stayed in the Limone suite at the Not'Art aparthotel in March 2012. It is a huge room with self catering facilities. The decor was ok but there were some awful dirty looking cushions on the bed that that we had to move. The private terrace for the Limone suite is actually on the roof - up quite a lot of... More

Ortygia is a must for visitors to SIcily, and Not'Art is a delightful boutique hotel on the city edge of the island. Easy to get to from the train or bus station, close to the wharves, and ideal for walking through the narrow old city of Syracusa, the owners of Not'Art have created a stylish experience in a 2700 year...
