We were amazed by this place! Tucked in the middle of Ortigia, this old plazzo has been renovated to the highest standards. Our room consisted of a tasteful and bright living room, bed room and bathroom; the room had 2 balconies looking into the piazza and a 4 poster bed.The breakfast was superb and the service was flawless. It's not... More

Ok there's no lift and we were on the top floor, 3rd level, but absolutely worth it. It was a mini apartment, spacious, clean, wifi, separate living room, generous terrace with views to the sea, air.con.and a bathroom with a window, and we had our own personal solarium, room 11. Great breakfast and the staff were incredibly kind and generous.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, running off train times for us without being asked and recommending restaurants. Our room (think it was Rm 10) had a separate lounge area, double bedroom, single bedroom and bathroom. We thought the decor throughout was stylish and the typically Italian breakfasts very good. There was... More

We travel to Syracuse as a party of six friends and an initial mix up which would have found us separated between the main building and a nearby apartment was quickly and diplomatically sorted. We were delighted with our arrangement in the nearby apartment consisting of four bedrooms (of which we occupied three) and a large and delightfully furnished sitting... More

We stayed 5 nights at Syracuse in Sicily, at this B&B which we found via Trip Advisor. It was a gem. Every comfort, clean, spacious, well located and offering a first class breakfast of local produce. The staff were very friendly, including assisting us to take our luggage upstairs and bringing it back down at the end. We had a... More

This hotel is located in the center of Ortigia, perfect for exploring the town. Our room was a large apartment with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs in a loft. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. We did have some trouble finding the hotel after parking our car. We called them for directions, and one... More

This is a lovely place to stay. We have been here 4 nights and travelled to towns easily accessible in the locale. There is a variety of rooms, some small some larger with kitchen facilities, some with balconies. The breakfast is also great with a selection of fruits, meats, cheeses, dolci etc. coffee to order. All staff have been very... More

We enjoy this hotel very much. We had trouble finding it is in the middle of the old city center and the streets are very narrow. But when we got there we were very pleased, the room are beautifully designed, to Thelma's detail! Breakfast was also very good and the lobby was small but nice to relax.

We recently spent 3 nights here with friends - it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were beautifully and individually decorated, the breakfast included fresh fruit and meats and cheeses along with amazing ricotta cake baked by Mario, the owner. Mario and his staff went out of their way to be helpful nothing was too much trouble. We left there... More
