We stayed for 3 nights in Ortigia at B&B Giudecca. On arrival Roberta offered us a choice of 2 rooms we opted for 8B on the 2nd floor - with views out over the piazza and church. The room was spacious with a separate sitting room, large bedroom, bathroom and very good aircon. There was also a small fridge -... More

We stayed at the B&B in July and were extremely happy about our choice. The location of the B&B was in the middle of the island and was surrounded by amazing restaurants and shops. The B&B itself super cute and cozy, very clean and an exceptional breakfast, plus service by the host himself! We would always come back again!!

Our family had two rooms in the beautiful B&B la Via della Giudecca, and we were very happy with our choice. Initially we struggled to locate the B&B, finally parking and walking in on foot, and finding it next to a beautiful church on a small piazza. The helpful staff checked we were parked in a safe spot, and carried... More

We experienced difficulty finding access to the property amid the myriad of little streets in Ortigia (we knew where we wanted to go but just couldn't get there!) so we parked the car and "the men" set off to solve the problem. They returned with the lovely Roberta from B&B La Via della Giudecca who got behind the wheel and... More

Well located in Ortygia, this B&B provided everything you would need throughout your stay. Our room was on the larger side with a separate living area and bedroom. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and were able to answer all enquiries in a timely manner. The highlight of they stay was no doubt the breakfast provided - probably one of... More

We stayed in four different place in our travels around Sicily and this was the cheapest and best. I loved the location in the old town - beautiful, historic, lots of lovely places to eat. The building is old but modernised and very attractive. The breakfast was just teriffic (much, much better than one of the four star places we... More

We had a wonderful 3 nights in Via Della Giudecca in the great town of Ortigia in Syracusa. We arrived early, after traveling up from Malta that day, and Roberta graciously invited us to have breakfast at the hotel. (We were not charged additionally for that.) We were then escorted to our room at the top of a substantial number... More

Accommodation centrally located and staff arranged an efficient private transfer from Catania airport. However Booking.com description did not match our rooms situated away from main building/reception although an exchange of emails assured us they were of similar quality. They are not. Our Rooms were up 28 steps via a gloomy and run down (even by Sicilian standards) court yard. V... More

This is possibly the best place we have ever stayed. The location is perfect in the middle of Ortigia, walking distance to everywhere on the island. The rooms we had were up two flights of marble steps however your bags get taken up very discretely and brought down again when you leave. We had rooms which included a kitchen which... More

Very pleasant stay for three nights. Helpful staff and lots of choice at breakfast. Views from room 13 terrace beautiful just be aware that there is a lot of steps with no lift. Free wifi and internet access. The receptionist was very helpful and made bookings for evening meals. Would recommend the fish restaurant gold star. We definitely stay again.
