We been staying in April at Minareto hotel. We totally enjoyed and instead of staying for one night, we decided to have luxury retreat for one more night. Our room was fabulous, supper clean, stylish and the view to Ortigia island was fabulous. Receptionists and manager were very friendly and customer focused. The breakfast was the best in whole Sicily,... More

The views from this hotel were breathtaking. The service was excellent, breakfast delicious, rooms clean, property quiet. The path to the beach was quite steep so may be difficult for some. The only complaint was that you could hear (very loudly) the toilets flushing in the rooms next to you, which happened to be next to my head when sleeping.

We spent 4 days @ the Resort Grand Hotel Minareto. Even if we arrived early in the morning, we got immediately the room, # 271, which face the bay of Siracusa. The view is breathtaking, with the Etna visibly clear on the ground. The room was clean and with all the comforts, first quality cosmetic products, fridge fully served, On... More

My husband and stayed two days in the Grand Hotel Minareto and it was memorable: the staff is friendly, the rooms spacious, the view breathtaking and the beach beautiful. We even ventured to swim in the very fresh sea and it was delightful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I stayed here recently for a period of eight days. Initially, I should say that we had only booked for the Easter weekend but, once we had spent a day here we decided to spend the rest of out time in Sicily at the Hotel. Apart from the marvelous location...we found the Hotel staff to be helpful,... More

My husband and I spent two nights at Minareto. It is quite far from the main area of Sircusa and Ortigia.... But because of that you have the most amazing views of the ocean and Ortigia island. This is a true beach resort - very large and spread out... If you are looking to be away from it all, this... More

My boyfriend and I had arranged to stay here for my birthday in September 2012 as I used to live in Sicily as a student and have always wanted to come back. I often find that the arrival at the hotel can set the tone for the rest of the holiday so was delighted when we arrived to the beautiful... More

My wife and I were recommended The Grand Hotel Minareto by our travel agent. As we were just taking a break at short notice we decided to go to a hotel for the first time on holidays. This was also our first real holiday in 3 years. We traveled in October 2012. The weather was lovely and we got some... More

I was in Syracuse, with my sweet heart for the Festival of the ancient Greek theater, tragedies ( Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides) performed in the astonishing set of the old Greek theater, 2500 years old. The performancies are played during the sunset (May-June): it' s real an experience. Unfortunately the tragedies are performed only in Italian and traslation is not available... More

On the whole this was a super stay. The private beach was lovely and so clean. Facilties on site were more than adequate although the wifi was limited. The fitness suite was well equipped and the pool perfect. Breakfast was excellent but the dinner menu was uninspiring and not cheap and the poolside cafe was just ok. You really need... More
