A great campsite in an amazing location We were sorry to leave but so glad to have stayed longer than we thought we would. We saw some beautiful places in Sicily but our time spent here was the best. Serious tent dwellers beware, you may fall in love with the hosts. Worth more than their weight in tent-pegs and ductape.... More

It's hard to start explaining how great it was to stay in Paradiso del Mare. First of all the people there are amazing, they are so but so nice. Luz even went to pick us up at the bus stop, and that was just the beginning. They were 24/7 worried about their guests. While we were there they had a ping... More

When you are bored from all of the buzzing and rushing in big towns and tourist places, then this sweet retreat between Siracusa and Avola is an excellent place to relax and feel one with the nature. I arrived there with my screwed up car and my girlfriend by a chance, and boy, I have never before been so lucky... More

We stayed right at the end of the season and loved this campsite. Paolo who runs the place was absolutely amazing and made our stay loads of fun. He helped us to work out transport to Syracusa and shops, gave us a spare duvet because we were cold, makes great coffee at the bar, let us try his olive oil... More

We stayed 3 days at this campsite and we had a very pleasant time. It's small, peaceful and clean, with a very friendly and helpful staff, with a lot of shady spots to pitch a tent. The campsite is conveniently located as a springboard to visit the area (like Syracuse, Ragusa, Noto or Modica) and there's a nice beach nearby... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Paradiso del Mare is a small camping characterized by a rich shading and the proximity (only 50 meters) to the beach of Gallina (nearby the beach of Fontane Bianche). We are centrally situated near the most beautiful itinerary to discover this part of Sicily. In fact, at about 19 kilometers or a 20 minutes drive lies Syracuse, with the old quarter of Ortygia, mentioned on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The capital of Sicilian Baroque, Noto, can be reached in just 12 km or 10 minutes by car. In our campsite you will rediscover the thrill of camping surrounded by nature, while protected by the shade of olive trees, eucalyptus and pine trees. Your pets are very welcome. ... more   less
