B&B was perfect. Our host Stany, was very helpfull with parking the car, tips on restaurants, on excursions in the countryside, ... He works with the motto: 'Your smile is my smile'. And so it is. The breakfast in the beautiful Duomo square was a treat. Great choice for a stay in Syracuse. The town itself was one of the... More

This is the perfect B&B. The rooms are comfortable and large, the entire place is spotless, the location is ideal, the parking is easy, the breakfast (provided at a local cafe in the central square) is delicious, and it's affordable. And above all else, the staff is amazing. We were helped by Stan, and he was the sweetest person ever.... More

If you want to stay in Ortigia, this is the place for you...it's really good value and most comfortable. Breakfast is provided in the Gran Caffe opposite the cathedral in the main square...what could be nicer than eating a ricotta croissant and sipping a coffee while looking at amazing Baroque buildings?

If you want to spend your time in Siracusa in the old town island of Ortigia (you probably do), the Charme Ares B&B is a low stress, high value option. The location is very central to everything making everything you want to do walkable. Our host, Stanslad was MORE than accommodating. On short notice he helped us find nearby free... More

I am a senior adult experienced world traveler, picky but not overly so, who does much research before choosing a lodging and so am rarely disappointed. LOCATION: center of historic ortigia neighborhood of syracusa on historic quiet street near thew sea, all sites, and restaurants, shuttle bus to new town and bus/train stations and new town sites BUILDING: one floor... Charme Ares B&B is hands down the best place to stay when exploring the beautiful town of Ortigia and the eastern/southern part of Sicily for that matter. We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful B&B for 4 nights in May and would definitely go back for another visit. Greeted ever so kindly by the B&B's owner Enzo, our... More

I fully subscribe to the view that lodging at Charme Ares is like staying at friends. But that would be still an understatement. They are entirely at your disposal and their recommendations for dinner were spot on, so much so that I would dare say the we have never dined so divinely as we have in Siracusa. But Enzo's and... Comfortable, quiet accommodation an easy stroll from the centre of the old town. Nothing was too much trouble for Stany and Enzo, our charming and enthusiastic hosts - from helping us to park close by to making reservations on our behalf at excellent, good-value restaurants, and advising us on local sights etc. They really went the extra mile to ensure... Stanislaw and Enzo were superb hosts, and made sure that they told us everything we could possibly need to know about Siracuse and Ortigia. The B&B is very conveniently placed, excellent value for money, and comfortable.

Stayed 5 nights in Oct2014. Warm and helpful reception from Stanislao and exceptionally friendly service throughout our stay. Beautifully renovated, comfortable room. Conveniently sited for restaurants and sights of Ortigia. Be aware that, with a car, Ortigia is not the easiest of places - parking (in white bays only!) is problematic. But don't let that put you off staying in... More
