The hotel is nicely situated looking out over the water. It is an easy walk to restaurants and to the main square of the town and to shopping. To visit the ruins its a bit far so one should take a taxi. Rooms are of adequate size and are clean and fairly comfortable. Bathroom lighting is too dark and there is... More

With our own balcony and an incredible sea view, there is little more that one can ask for - this hotel is a pleasure to visit (my 4th time) with friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms (minimalist appeal) and a great location. However, with the view comes a certain amount of wind and so if there is wind on the island,... More

I was lucky enough to spend 5 nights in this tiny gem of a hotel, 10 rooms I think, managed by the friendliest staff you could ever imagine...who helped me daily with an Alitalia lost luggage problem, using the Manager's personal computer and his telephone. The hotel's location is ideal with a glorious sea view in Siracusa Ortigia. The property... More

A lovely small hotel with perfect rooms overlooking the sea, & mine had a small balcony to perch on - ideal for watching the world go by. The breakfasts were plentiful - from fresh fruit salads to omelette & bacon, plus good bread & pastries - all served with a smile & a chat. My room was plenty big enough... More

Located right on the water. We did not have a water view room but the hotel was beautiful, chic and modern. Has a lift. Free street parking. We did not drive the two days we were there. Lots of walking. many restaurants, cafes, gelato places. Breakfast included was excellent. Omelet and bacon. Rolls, Sicilian pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruit. Great coffees.... More

I spent in this hotel 6 wonderful days. Is well located between the Museum of art Bellomo and the Castle Maniace. Is also near Via Roma that bring you easy to the main square Piazza Duomo or to Piazza Archimede or to the open market. The staff is very kind, helpful giving direction and also for special needs as "gluten... More

For starters the breakfast was very poor, no options to choose from. Staff were rubbish!! We asked to be upgraded to a room with a view for an extra 20 a night, only to get an awful view of a court yard and what seemed to be the smallest room on the floor (judging by the map on the door).... More

We spent two nights at this hotel during a 14-days tour of Sicily (9 hotels). This rather small hotel on the coastal street of the Ortigia Island is well located within 5 minutes walk from the cathedral square and the historical centre of Syracuse. Many rooms have a nice front or side view to the sea from tiny balconies. There... More

We had three great nights at this lovely little hotel. All the staff were so friendly and couldn't enough for you. The room was excellent as was the bathroom. We had a great little balcony allowing us to sit out and look over the bay. Local is great and parking difficult as it is on the road, but the hotel... More
