The entrance is not impressive, but the hotel is nice. The room was spacious and clean and breakfast was excellent. The staff was polite and friendly. You have to walk 20 minutes to get to Ortygia and it's near Teatro Greco.

We were treated very well at Hotel Teocrito. We stayed three nights and our experience was positive on all counts. Giuseppe helped us map out the places to visit and his restaurant recommendations did not disappoint. Lucia treated us warmly and we enjoyed our conversations with her. The rest of the staff was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was good,... More

Me and my wife spent our one week long holiday here. The personal were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfartable. The loocation was good with only 10m walk to the old town Ortigia. And there is free parking and wifi. Great vacation at a great hotel

The location is good if you want to stay near the Roman theater and museum, it is like 10 minutes walking distance from there. But if you want to go to the city center - Ortigia, either you need a car to drive there or on foot like 30-40 minutes. The area is not bad but we really did not... More

First impressions at street level not encouraging but once inside, we were delighted with the facilities and the warm welcome. Rooms were spacious and bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast excellent and staff very helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. Close to archeological park and the hideous modern church which is not worth a visit but will always guide you back! A pleasant... More

Don't be put off by the strange entrance door. This is a friendly hotel which is well sited for Ortigia and the old Greek/Roman ruins. The walk to Ortigia will take you 20 mins but that's not too far! Room was comfortable with a very good double bed, free wi-fi and a good sized bathroom. They have Sky TV but... More

It is a good, typical "feel like hotel" hotel. No specials drills or buzz. Breakfast includes ham, cheese, scrabbled eggs etc which is nice for a change from typical "only sweets" Italian breakfast. The walk to Ortigia was not so long - 10-15 min and pleasant.
