The bed and breakfast "alla martorana" is located in the old town centre; in via Roma 171, just in the heart of Palermo.Within walking distance (few minutes) you can find the most typical and characteristic places where you can seize the genuine essence of the town with its unique and unmistakable colours, scents and flavours. Not too far you can find the most important monuments of the town: the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, Pretoria Square- with the wonderful fountain having the same name-, the Martorana Church, the Massimo Theatre. To taste the deliciousnesses of our land you can go to the several restaurants and "trattorie" which are very close to the B&B. If you want to go out in the evenings, you will be able to choose among the near at hand pubs where you can listen to good music or just drink something. Moreover, you can reach any area of the city (even the farthest from the city centre) and satisfy any need of moving far from the city centre (bus stops and coach terminus are very close to the B&B).
It's a really good located bed and breakfast Near the hotel all interesting things like theatre, churches etc I could t get normal shower because of problem with hot water For 3 days (like contrast shower 5 minutes no hot water, 45 seconds it is)

Three of us shared a room for a night on our way to Rome by sleeper train in this good little B&B. The owner was a really nice man, who was very happy to store our bags until we were due to board our sleeper train. He even gave us a set of keys for the doors. The roo was clean and although old it was sound. Breakfast got us up and running and I would stay again.

we stayed in this B&B for 2 nights. it's well located just: 5 minutes walk from central station and right in the historical centre . rooms are really basic, but clean and confortable. bathroom is clean. breakfats is really delightful with coffee, croissant, a different cake every morning, juice and milk. the owner, mr. Luigi, is really helpful and let us leave our luggages in the hotel the last day (we left Palermo in the afternoon). definitivly I suggest this B&B !

This B&B is ideally located, within a walking distance to bus/train station. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The owner was very kind, and chatted with us in Italian at breakfast every morning about our sightseeing and travels. Breakfast was adequate -- pastry, toast, jam, butter, coffee and juice. There's a computer station in the hallway for Internet access. Wireless is also available.
