great breakfast for the price, clean bathrooms, nice dormitory. Only bad thing i can think of was the noise. the como hall didn't have a door separating the corridor that lead to the rooms, so if there were to many people talking or playing music you can't sleep.

Staff at this hostel are quick to help you & point you in the right direction. Hostel is modern, clean & very spacious in all the rooms. Located central, so there are no issues trying to find food, transport or attractions. Highly recommend this hostel :)

This hostel was really nice, it's very clean. Personal lamps and plugs in every bed which is soo nice to have. The breakfast is free, simple but free, outdoor terrace which is really pretty. It can be a bit loud at night with the windows open because of the street traffic and noise but nothing too much. The staff was... More

The place was a bit hard to find. In the afternoon or evening, check in must be done at the hostel which is a 15 mn walk away. We were warned of this a few days before, through an e-mail we couldn't read since we were already travelling through Sicily. Once these come and go were solved, we were delighted... More

A Casa di Amici (04/10/14-06/10/14) – This B&B gives a very pleasant impression. The rooms are decorated in a friendly, colourful way. It’s clean inside, and there is useful travelling information on notice boards in the common room. The B&B has a kitchen, a dining room, a common room where they can also give African drums lessons (we heard the... More

Perfect location, easy to find. Big rooms, colourful and cosy interior. The staff is also nice, they helped us with some little problems we had. Not only at day, but also at night there's a lot of noise, but that's a part of Palermo and I had no problems with that. A very nice place to explore Palermo!

Honestly the sign wasn't big enough, the directions given to us was 100m behind Teatro Massimo but we initially stuggled to find Via Volturno street, and even when we were on the right street, is was easy to walk past the hostel without noticing it as the sign A Casa di Amici isn't eye-catching enough. First impression wasn't that great... More

Fantastic location, easy to find. The staff have some great recommendations about places to eat and things to do. Breakfast was good and loved the feel of the place and the atmosphere. Wifi could have been better in the room but in the lounge room it worked fine.

We checked in at the Via Volturno location, but reserved a private double room which was on Via Tunisi nearby. It is very close to the Teatro Massimo, so a fairly safe area to walk around even at night. The hostel was bright and colourful, and the room was large, and had wifi and AC. The bathrooms were shared and... More
