Our family of 5 stayed for 2 nights in interconnecting rooms and we wish we had stayed longer. The b&b is very well located with excellent restaurants nearby and all Palermo attractions within easy walking distance. The breakfast is very good and the staff very helpful. Recommend.

BB22 is tucked away down a side street in Palermo. It is a slightly run down area but the B&B itself has been nicely furnished and decorated. The initial welcome was pleasant but although the breakfast was good on the first morning on the second one the staff were not interested at all. Nothing was ready and we had to ask for... More

The BB22 is probably a bit different to your regular Italian B&B. More what you would call a Boutique B&B. We had a lovely spacious room, with quirky, modern styling, all clean and comfortable. Good shower room with great shower. An excellent breakfast was served upstairs with a great choice of fresh fruit, bread and pastries. The staff were really... More

When we travel, we hope for hotels with three characteristics, location, service and interest. Very rarely do we find a hotel that is outstanding on all three. BB22 is one. We ended up using Palermo as our home base, in large part because of our experience at BB22. First, the location, a ten-minute walk from station, and then everything else... More

We loved this "shabby chic" hotel alternative in the old part of the city. It was reasonably clean, the staff was most helpful and the location could not have been better for our purposes. Breakfast was fair to very good, but our needs are quite simple - coffee, tea, some fruit and a little bread. This is not a full... More

We loved our stay in Palermo largely due to the great service and superb location of this wonderful B&B. An excellent breakfast in the sunny dining room with charming staff- what better way to start the day. We asked for a guide as we had limited time and we wanted to access Palermo, Sergio was magnificent -can't recommend him highly... More

A recommendation from Vagabonda years ago finally came to fruition when we recently spent 4 very comfortable nights at the very private and intimate BB22. We loved the ease of accessibility to our bucket list of sights including Palazzos Branceforte, Steri & Abatelli. Our hosts willingly organised our restaurant bookings and gave great advice and suggestions. Breakfast was perfect for... More

Excellant choice for alternative to Hotel. Found near the port and within waking distance to all attractions and historical sites. Restaurants are varied and plentiful. Air conditioned ((thank God) and good firm beds.

The owners are congenial, and well-informed, and are enthusiastic about Palermo specifically and Sicily in general. They are very helpful and we found them charming. Unusually for a small hotel, the ambiance is such that we found ourselves chatting to various other guests at breakfast. The common parts consist of a breakfast room and adjoining terrace, both of them unimpeachable.... More

We had a delightful, spacious first floor room replete with balcony, electic objets and myriad oil paintings, even in the bathroom! Charming Massimo was patiently can-do with our endless questions, providing us with clear map directions, restaurant bookings/suggestions, and organising a super-smooth airport transfer on our arrival. All made for a memorable haven from the excitement and bustle of Palermo.
