I had a package deal in that hotel so i don't really know whether it was expensive or not but i shouldn't think so. Breakfast was included in the deal. The staff was very polite and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very good standard for a hostel. The breakfast was quite poor though. Only some croissants and... More

The hotel is not that bad considering the area it is in. But it is really not that good either! The area around is noisy and really scruffy with unsavoury rubbish on the street. But you get to see life in Palermo if you stay here. We never actually felt unsafe around here despite the messy streets. The hotel is... More

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in the summer and I can't say it was bad! The area where it's situated may not be the most glamorous part in Palermo but I wouldn't say it was unsafe. Also there is a big bus station nearby so getting into the centre would not be a problem. The staff was... More

Spent a night in Palermo while visiting the capuchin catacombs, the front desk was very nice and accommodating. She helped us decide where to eat and offered to even call the pizza delivery service and have it delivered to my room. good place to spend the night room was spotless and comfortable

Very dirty area, but then all of Palermo is filthy. I wouldn't walk around anywhere there at night. We found the room adequate for the money, nowhere close to eat, had some awful food nearby. We had breakfast in the hotel and it was not bad, lots to eat, nice food. Avoid weekends though or go down early!!! Look I... More

Hotel Casa Marconi is a nice hotel located away from the center of Palermo. Near the hotel is Palazzo dei Normanni, Park d'Orleans and the train station from which we will get to the airport. Rooms at the hotel are not too big but clean. Equipped with a small TV, a private bathroom and air conditioning. Breakfast is served buffet... More

Location is not too bad. Not far from train/metro station Orleans. About 20 mins pleasant walk to the cathedral. You can walk anywhere from the hotel. Was not comfortable walking around at night, but that applies to many other cities. Hotel staff: they could do with a few more smiles in general. When I checked in there was a possibly... More

We chose this BnB for two nights to stay and look around Palermo. Positive: Good value for money compared to similar available options, decent breakfast, clean, friendly staff, air conditioning worked well, 24 hour service Negative: Room was pretty small, shower - tiny. Walls are thin so you hear everything that is hapenning on the floor which is especially disturbing in... More

There seems to be quite a few negative comments on here but as a single female traveller I felt the hotel was good value for money, the receptionists (particularly the two ladies) went out of their way to be helpful and the room was clean. They allowed me to stay in the room for an extra hour so I was... More
