This is a lovely, small hotel with a gorgeous roof top terrace and a 360 degree view of the city. It's located in the old city center and easy walking to the train, bus, markets, restaurants, and historic places of interest. Breakfast is delicious - with fresh squeezed blood red oranges. The dinner and wine prices are very reasonable. The... More

This hotel must have done some renovation recently because everything looked new when we stayed. Our room was small but had beautiful, lovely furniture and a spectacular view. The bathroom was very tiny but clean. Shower was a little challenge and probably won't fit a 250- 300 lbs person. TV was very cute but should be in the museum (... More

The hotel is perfectly situated near to historical center of Palermo city, shopping streets and sea. Room was clean and quiet. The only problem was a lack of heating in the night (and in early April it feels incomfortable), the radiators were hot in the evening and turned off by 9pm or so. Nice views from window - we were... This hotel is an easy walk from the train station and 15 minute walk to points of interest. The room I was assigned as large with nice layer of paint. The bathroom was also large and recently renovated. The rooftop breakfast area was quite delightful. My stay coincided with the first day of Rick Steve's Sicily Tour. I was able... More

Ambasciatore provided the right atmosphere to start our three week trip through Sicily. The spacious terrace with a 360 view of Palermo gave us an inkling of what we were about to discover. Most sites were walking distance. When we returned in the evening it was easy to find small charming, delicious restaurants located in the nearby neighborhoods. The room... More

We were looking for a room when we were driving through the city. I asked for the room rate which was a little more than then the online booking so we booked online before reapproaching. The reception staff were lovely about the difference and in general. The rooms were clean, tidy and very central.

What a view! Breakfast on the rooftop restaurant in warm March sunshine with panoramic views of Palermo. Hard to beat. The hotel is very central so within easy walking distance of the main sites. Our room near the top of the building was very quiet at night. No street noise. But from 7am banging noises possibly from the kitchen above.... More

We stayed for 4 nights in February in a twin bed room on the 5th floor. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean. The towel drying bars in the bathroom were great for drying the socks we washed. The walls however are paperthin - we could here the couple next door skyping with their grandchild. Luckily, no... We arrived on Saturday night and parking was a problem. The hotel advised us that via Milano were the best place to park and we did find a space. You can normally park behind the hotel and it's free. Our room was facing via Roma and the view was stunning even in the dark! However the noise was unbearable at... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2015

We stayed bed and breakfast only in January 2015. Price was very reasonable and the room was immaculate with very large bed. Breakfast was really good bacon, scrambled eggs, pastries, cakes, fresh oranges for juicing, tea, coffee, yoghurt, cereals. All you could wish for really and all came with the best view of the city from a pretty roof terrace.... More
