Pro: 1. Rooms were clean 2. Bathroom was large and appeared to have been recently renovated 3. Good location to walk to many sites in Palermo 4. The rooftop views were impressive Con: 1. There is only one lift so if your room is on one of the top floors, this may be inconvenient. Additionally, the lift is old and... More

It is half 12 and I have not slept a wink. We are in a room on the main road and you can hear the cars and scooters. I live in central london and have no trouble sleeping but here the traffic is too noisy. Don't stay here unless you are given a room off the main road.

We arrived very late, found a spot on the street nearby to park, and were quickly shown to our two rooms. Our daughters had a very large triple with a balcony on Via Roma. We were on the same floor with a smaller room at the back. Rooms and bathrooms were great by Italian standards. Breakfast the next morning on... More

I stayed at this hotel in mid-June 2014 and early July 2014 at the beginning and end of my trip in Sicily. The location is very convenient. It's about 5-6 minute walk from where the airport bus drops you off (and picks you up). It's also a short walk from Quattro Canti. The breakfast is on the roof terrace and... More

We recently stayed in the Ambasciatori for three nights. It's centrally located in the old part of the city, an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. We timed the walk to the central station where we caught the airport bus: 6 minutes. The hotel is in a large, lovely building and the rooms reflect an era gone by... More

It's the place to stay in Palermo: great, friendly, accommodating staff; a spare, classy room; easy access to the city and to the bus/train station; and perhaps best of all, a bar/restaurant on a gorgeous rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Next time we're in Palermo, we'll be back at the Ambasciatori.

Awesome Service. Great views. Nice breakfast. . View and rooms, and location worth it. Clean, and breakfast is perfect. Could have sworn I booked breakfast included, but they said I didn't. No big deal, was on 3.00 euros per person anyway.

This hotel is close to the port and the train station. We had a lovely room with a balcony. Free wifi and lots of space. Staff are really responsive - we had trouble with our safe on arrival and they fixed it immediately. Breakfast is good, and is served on the beautiful roof terrace. View is breath taking. It gets... The view from the roof is breath taking. It is almost worth staying here for the view in the morning and you can take a drink to the roof at night. Rooms OK. Wifi patchy. The lift is eccentric. Good location for the city and the train station. Couple of v good cafés nearby and a couple of excellent, earthy... More
