While visiting Sicily as part of a Rick Steve's 11 Day Best of Sicily tour, this was our first hotel. Spent two nights here and was very satisfied with the experience. The room was very clean with all of the expected amenities. Wi-Fi very good. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking this busy city was fantastic. You don't feel the city... More

We have just come back from a week at the Ambasciator. We had a great time. The staff were very helpful. The hotel itself is clean and the rooms are a good size. The buffet breakfast is excellent value and very good quality. The restaurant, Seven, was lovely, a little higher priced but you will notice the quality. Our room... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while in Palermo. The location is great, only 5min from Central station. We had a big room on 3rd floor, clean and spacious. The only thing was that at night, it was very very noisy. I knew this from the previous reviews, so if you can, ask for a room at the... More

I booked this hotel based on the reviews. It is well located, close to all the main sites in Palermo. We booked a car service because we knew we would be tired after a long day of travel (3 flights from Canada) which the hotel had arranged at 35 Euros. This said, when we got into the car, the meter... More

I was originally given room 104, which was a large room on the 1st floor (reception being on floor 0). This would have been a wonderful room, except for the bed, which was extremely hard and a vanity with iron legs that I kept jamming my toe into on the way out from the toilet. I checked out the bed... More

This is a lovely, small hotel with a gorgeous roof top terrace and a 360 degree view of the city. It's located in the old city center and easy walking to the train, bus, markets, restaurants, and historic places of interest. Breakfast is delicious - with fresh squeezed blood red oranges. The dinner and wine prices are very reasonable. The... More

This hotel must have done some renovation recently because everything looked new when we stayed. Our room was small but had beautiful, lovely furniture and a spectacular view. The bathroom was very tiny but clean. Shower was a little challenge and probably won't fit a 250- 300 lbs person. TV was very cute but should be in the museum (... More

The hotel is perfectly situated near to historical center of Palermo city, shopping streets and sea. Room was clean and quiet. The only problem was a lack of heating in the night (and in early April it feels incomfortable), the radiators were hot in the evening and turned off by 9pm or so. Nice views from window - we were... This hotel is an easy walk from the train station and 15 minute walk to points of interest. The room I was assigned as large with nice layer of paint. The bathroom was also large and recently renovated. The rooftop breakfast area was quite delightful. My stay coincided with the first day of Rick Steve's Sicily Tour. I was able... More

Ambasciatore provided the right atmosphere to start our three week trip through Sicily. The spacious terrace with a 360 view of Palermo gave us an inkling of what we were about to discover. Most sites were walking distance. When we returned in the evening it was easy to find small charming, delicious restaurants located in the nearby neighborhoods. The room... More
