As I said above; lovely big room, good soundproofing and helpful staff. Public seating area, bar and restaurant all really worked as a space. only negative is that it is 5mins walk too far west of the centro storico.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night as part of a Trafalgar Tour of Italy and Sicily. The hotel is located within the CBD and is an easy walk to many of the cities attractions and historical sites. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The rooms whist showing a bit of wear and tear are clean and... More

Loved the location, the service, the restaurant, the clean room and bathroom.... Good value for money. Parking available across the road for €20/day. Recommended for all types of travellers. Good value for money.

Location is good -as it is located on small street within the center, quiet but you can feel safe -within walking distance to the centre, especially when I bought those two days tour bus tickets, which gave you unlimited stop around the city, which covers all the sites -also close to the bus station to Modello -there are restaurants around,... Nice hotel situated very closed to the city center in a calm area. Rooms are nice and clean and breakfast was good. Parking is also available around the hotel. There is are restaurant but we have not had the chance to eat there. The stuff is nice and helpfully. Suggested.

Cheap hotel. Nice enough room but no eggs at breakfast on Weds 5 Aug. Everybody was wandering around looking puzzled- annoying as I needed some protein fuel at 6.30am before an early flight. Was told to get a taxi outside to the airport but the man charged me €50! Total rip- off as a driver had previously driven me to... More

Dear Madame, Many thanks for your review on the cost of the taxi in Palermo. There is no connection between the hotel and taxis except the fact that those stay in front of us waiting for customers, as it happens in the rest of the world. Define a strange place our hotel because at 6:30am the eggs were not ready... More

The Mercure Palermo Centro has nice and relatively large rooms that are slightly worn but still functional and comfortable. Breakfast is included, buffet style and a mixed affair. There is a limited choice of bread, various jams, scrambled eggs, salami, ham and two or three types of cheese. Moreover there are several types of cake, all of which taste very... More

We stayed for one night enough route to our holiday destination. The rooms were spacious with good bathroom facilities. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of meats, cheeses, breads, sweet pastries, juices, cereals and some hot food. The children really enjoyed this! The hotel is centrally located, just a short walk from the grand theatre and the harbour. Would... More

Hotel staff - very polite and friendly. The reception is manned 24 hours. Hotel location - simply the best. Very close to all tourist attractions, bus stops, restaurants and the street is very quiet so we slept really well. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from theater Politeama, where you can catch the coach to the airport or to the... More
