This was our second stay at Piccola Sicilia. As before, we were made to feel very welcome. Two particular strengths of the B&B are its location - just 10 minutes on foot from Teatro Massimo, yet our room was very quiet - and the gorgeous breakfasts, which included delicious homemade yogurt, home baking and freshly baked bread. Eggs and cereal... More

Rafaella welcomed us into her lovely home, which is only 10 minutes walk from the airport bus stop and a similar distance into the historical centre. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was generous and varied. Rafaella was helpful with local knowledge and her English was very much better than our Italian. We would definitely recommend this B&B and... More

We had reserved this B&B due to the good reviews and were looking forward to staying there. When we arrived however, the owner told us that she had accidentally overbooked and that we now needed to stay at her sisters in laws place (Mediterraneo B&B) which was one floor below for the first night of 2. The room we got... More

A beautiful B&B I hope we return to. Raffaella picked us up at the airport having to organise two cars - one for us and one for our luggage. The B&B is located in an excellent location in walking distance of great restaurants, shops, markets, train station and tourist attractions. Raffaella was a warm, kind and friendly host with such... We arrived at the B&B late from the Genoa ferry, and Raffaella was there to help us with parking and with settling in. The B&B is centrally located, the room is spacious and nicely decorated and it feels like home. Raffaella prepared us a lovely breakfast and gave us helpful suggestions for not only what to see in Palermo but... More

An excellent cozy B&B with a lovely very welcoming and friendly hostess Raffaella, who made us fresh breakfast every day - usually some baked goods, home made yoghurt and absolutely delicious coffee. She was very kind to help us out with all the information we needed and was happy to reply to all of our (probably very annoying!) questions that... More

My dear friend and I had chance to travel to Sicily together last october in occasion of her birthday. Prior arrival we were looking for a place to stay in Palermo for the first night, and with a couple of search, we encountered this great place, Piccola Sicilia, soon to be discovered that the owner is from Sardinia, we actually... When we arrived in Palermo it turned out that our luggage did not arrive with us. Dissapointed, we went to the rental car office and had to navigate to The B&B without our GPS. Tired, grumpy and very late we arrived, and were so happy to see our hostess, Raffaella, still waiting for us. She was very understanding and offered... More

A small tucked away b and b in Palermo. Welcoming hosts who took us in with all our baggage and two bicycles. Helped us plan the next stage of our route looking up bus timetables. Lovely breakfast with home made yoghurt. Shame it was just one night.

Best place to stay in Palermo is the B&B Piccola Sicilia. Very close to the downtown, the B&B Piccola Sicilia is located in a quiet building. Large bedrooms full of facilities, very clean. Rich breakfast, gluten free breakfast as well (a gluten free bakery is in front of the B&B). The hosts Raffaella and Daniele are very polite and helpful... More
