I was travelling around Europe for 3 months, and staying at Giorgios was BY FAR the worst experience of my entire trip. Admittedly, the facilities he offers are fine - breakfast, ok place, picks you up from the train station, etc. However, Palermo is a very scary place - and Giorgios is not in a good location within the city.... more

Giorgios is a small family owned bed and brekfeast. Giorgio takes care of everything. He also offers trekking tours and resturant tours free of charge!! Very nice room, cleen and old intresting furnitures. He also keeps a B&B in Buenos Aires which I would not hecitate to book when I´m going there. more

As I said to Giorgio, you don't go to Giorgio's House for the House but for Giorgio. The accomodation is basic but functional, the room I was in somewhat noisy. But the breakfast exellent and Giorgio an excellent host. So, if you go to Palermo to experience the city this is an excellent, very safe, well priced, and enjoyable choiche, more

Giorgio made us extremely welcome and went out of his way to make our stay memorable from the first day. He introduced us to his neighbourhood and the city of Palermo. Best of all he and his sister took us and his other guests on a picnic to a national park in beautiful mountainous area in central Sicily. more

The bed and breakfast is in the city center of Palermo. Every day an excellent breakfast with good coffee. Giorgios is fantastic, he gives you advice and guide you around the Island. I recommend the bed and breakfast to everybody. more

Giorgio's house is a real gem, and so is he! An added bonus is his sister, Gabriella, if you get to meet her. I had reservations about staying in Palermo as a solo traveller arriving late at night. Palermo was a prelude to a one week group tour of Sicily. I have read and heard much about this city.- many... more

We stayed two nights at Giorgio's, and we all loved it. A very lively neighborhood, minutes from the market, where we sampled the famous Palermo sandwich... try it! Giorgio's tour is great. If you are staying more than one night, do it the first day, as Giorgio shows you some great sites, where you can return later. Palermo is a... more

Palermo is not, as other reviewers have mentioned, to everybody's taste. It is pretty rough and ready and can be quite scary at times (although nowhere near as scary as Naples....). However, it is exactly for these very reasons why a stay at Giorgio's House is highly recommended, with Giorgio's friendly smile and generous personality more than compensating for any... more
