Great Hotel, Good location and nice rooms. Our room had a small balcony and overlooked the park complete with fountain. The staff particularly at the reception and office, very attentive and helpful. Imagine an English speaker trying to confirm flights and print boarding passes on an Italian website. Staff to the rescue!. Plentiful buffet breakfast in beautiful dining room.

We arrived in Palermo at 11.00am checked into the Hilton Palermo what a great spot, friendly staff, nice room with a balcony (which is very handy when doing laundry on the road) and a great breakfast. This is a one block walk to get the bus to the airport. A great spot. Nice park beside the hotel

This hotel has fairly recently moved from Hilton to Mercure and we were not sure whether this might be good or bad. The answer was good. The hotel is well-positioned in a pleasant part of Palermo with attractive gardens and shopping nearby, and plenty of cafes/restaurants. The rooms are large and comfortable, although reached by rather a maze of corridors.... More

I had reserved a room at the Mecure Palermo Excelsior the afternoon before traveling to Palermo. When I arrived, I was dismayed to find out that there was nothing saved in my name even though I had a confirmation number from Tripadvisor. After searching the computer for 20 minutes...Celine at the front desk still found nothing. Finally, Celine found just... More

The best hotel experience in Italy so far. Near Giardino Englese, a quiet and lovely neighborhood. The entire crew was tender, lovely and excecutive in everything I´ve need. Amazing upgrades as a platinum member.

Good value for money, centrally located. Even better being a platinum member, provides with the sweetest of upgrades. Only criticism I have is the hotel needs decorated and improve its breakfast service offering.

We spent two nights in this hotel with a small tour group. We liked it very much and would probably go back to it if we revisit Palermo, which we hope to do as there are so many wonderful places to see there. The hotel is an grand, old building facing the English gardens at the front and the Italian... More

I had the pleasure of staying here with my boyfriend while we came to visit his family. I am very glad I had chose here too! The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was very fancy in my opinion. Our room was nice and spacious, and very clean. We had a lovely view out on the garden and was... More

This was a work trip and such a lovely change from the standard modern plastic all-look-the-same Holiday Inn type places. Mine was a cheap room - I discovered why when I found it had no windows, just big skylights, but once I'd discovered how to open them it was light and airy and not too hot. (With them closed it...
