A straight walk from Stazione Centrale, and easy to find, Hotel Posta was a welcoming end to our hectic first day in Palermo. The staff at reception were wonderful, and my wife made a point of trying her practised Italian which they appreciated and offered guidance to. The room was very clean and the private bathroom likewise. Breakfast downstairs a... More

Lovely hotel in the middle of Palermo, close to the Opera House. Great shopping and small restaurants. WiFi is in the refreshment area of the hotel downstairs from room. Sit down continental breakfast from 7:30 am to 11am. Rooms facing the alley are noisy at night if you have the balcony doors open. Very nice hotel for the price and... More

Great location, some staff are very helpful and friendly while others are a little lazy. Room was spacious and clean other than a little mould in the top of the shower. The heating doesn't get turned on every night so therefore it can sometimes be cold at night during winter. The heating really depends on who is on reception during... More

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.. Parking is available for a fee. The location is great and the hotel is clean and the rooms are nicely set up. The breakfast is plentiful. We would stay here again.

The Hotel Posta was recommended by a friend who has a professional knowledge of Sicily. We could not have been more pleased. The hotel has a charming and intimate feel; the location is near the theaters and cultural attraction; and the staff are all wonderfully gracious. Hotel Posta would be a brilliant choice for anyone wishing comfort and convenience in... More

Stayed at Hotel Posta for 4 nights in late October and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is in a great position just off the Via Roma and a few minutes walk from the major sights - cathedral, teatro massimo - and many restaurants. The best restaurant we ate at ( three nights running!) was Il Culinario on the... More

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel La posta and were very pleased with everything, great location, room with balcony, air conditioning, great breakfast, helpful staff. All first class and great value. Parking was close by and the staff gets your car for you. We were 2 couples touring Sicily. Palermo is a wonderful city, full of life, noisy, not too... More

We arrived in Palermo and hotel Posta was easily found and the staff were very friendly on arrival and throughout out stay. The room was of very high standard, spacious, clean, lots of lamps and lighting and the bathroom and shower are excellent. Breakfast was perfect lots of fruit and crossiants which were always fresh. The hotel recommended my girlfriend... More

The website makes it look grander than it is, and the usual hints that parking might be price-included or even easy to do (!!!) are misleading, but it is OK for the price and served us just fine for a night before catching our flight home to Gatwick. WiFi did not work on my IPad; the breakfast was available later... More

It seems to me from my experience and research that hotels in Sicily are a bit simpler than in other parts of Italy. For example, something that is of three-start quality in Palermo might be considered more of a two star hotel in Florence, for example. So the expectations can't be as high as in northern Italy, I'd say. About... More
