We arrived in Palermo and hotel Posta was easily found and the staff were very friendly on arrival and throughout out stay. The room was of very high standard, spacious, clean, lots of lamps and lighting and the bathroom and shower are excellent. Breakfast was perfect lots of fruit and crossiants which were always fresh. The hotel recommended my girlfriend... More

The website makes it look grander than it is, and the usual hints that parking might be price-included or even easy to do (!!!) are misleading, but it is OK for the price and served us just fine for a night before catching our flight home to Gatwick. WiFi did not work on my IPad; the breakfast was available later... More

It seems to me from my experience and research that hotels in Sicily are a bit simpler than in other parts of Italy. For example, something that is of three-start quality in Palermo might be considered more of a two star hotel in Florence, for example. So the expectations can't be as high as in northern Italy, I'd say. About... More

The lobby appears welcoming, but the rooms are so bad! The bed was squeaking all the time, and was not comfy. The room was so old and tired it was depressing. There wasn't enough lamps or lighting. Not enough water was coming from the shower. This was a superior room so I can't imagine how the ordinary room is! Also,... More

You get what you pay for and this is a very good value 3 star hotel, very reminiscent of those I’ve stayed in around Termini in Rome. Staff could not be more helpful and were happy to print out a forest of boarding cards for our return flights to the UK via Rome. The hotel is comfortable and clean but... More

After a three hour flight and Palermo traffic the welcome was seemless and warm. The room was clean comfortable with a small balcony overlooking an old side street. The receptionist gave us good advice on where to eat and that was after we put the car in a box to get it off the street.Palermo is changing and the derelict buildings are... We stayed for four nights in mid-December. Great location, nice room, characterful hotel, nice continental breakfast and friendly, helpful professional staff. This hotel was good value and I could not really fault it. I would like to stay there again.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The location is sentral, still some meters away from the bustling traffic. The hotel's most important asset is the friendly, extremely helpfull and competent staff, who is ready to help with everything - recommending places to see and things to do, booking, proviing guides, transport or whatever you may need!

We went to Palermo for a three-day weekend and stayed at Hotel Posta. We were traveling with our nephew and were able to get rooms next to one another. Each room had a small balcony overlooking the street which was very quiet. We arrived near midnight and received a kind welcome. Our rooms were very clean and had good storage.... More
