We tried to reach the hotel with our GPS but it directed us to the smallest streets in the Palermo Ballaró Market. A disaster. After arriving at the hotel they told us an easier and faster way to drive to the hotel and then was fine. The hotel is within the market area and this is a pity. The hotel... More

This hotel was a bit of a challenge to find given all the narrow one way streets that the TomTom was unable to negotiate. The clue was to continue to read the distance from the destination and then do a bit of guess work with the streets. Once found it was a huge relief Palermo reminded us of a city... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your review. We're happy that you appreciate the room and its services. About the theft...I want to highlight that it's not an institution in Palermo and it's surely less than New York or other big city around the world...just to reassure who is going to come in Palermo! Be prudent as any other tourist around... More

This is a wonderful boutique property that has luxurious rooms with comfortable facilities and an extensive breakfast. All this is at extremely reasonable rates. the staff is pleasant and friendly and the only down side was the location of the hotel which looks like it is in the middle of a ghetto.

A Luxury place Great place to stay - we had a big room Great breakfast - serve eggs (unusual for Sicily) Parking space Location is not comforting - lot of recent-immigrants walking about, we didnt see anything illegal or feel unsafe 10 min walk to the main thoroughfare

Dear Guest, thank you for your kind review. We're really glade about your appreciation of the hotel, staff and amenities. However about the location if you feel safe and did not see anything of bad/illegal...what is wrong? It's the nearest location that you can ask to visit all the most famous monuments in Palermo...! Anyway we hope that you had... More

This is a wonderful small hotel in the historic district of Palermo. The front desk help, especially Maria, and all of the staff are expert at making you feel comfortable and at home. The room is large, and well decorated. We liked everything about the hotel including the breakfast and the location. Now, about the location... on the positive side,... More

Two friends traveling had asked for two separate beds.Upon arrival a King size bed, was only alternative. Asked for two keys. Not available, ostensibly previous guest took them. Dirty towel, and used shower cap in bathroom. Someone's doggie bag in the minibar. We had to call reception to get soap in bathroom. Huge room, dining room table with 4 chairs but NO desk,... More

Dear Guest, first of all for us each guest is unique so it's not important if you are friends or a couple in any case we give the best. In your case we simply make an error and an ancient Italian proverb says: "Chi mangia fa molliche" translation "Who eats makes crumbs" meaning that it's normal to make an error!... More

Palermo is a place I have wanted to visit for a long time, and as most of what is worth seeing is in the old city we wanted to stay somewhere central. As the Palazzo Brunaccini is a few minutes from the Quattro Canti, the crossroads at the centre of the city, and appeared well-regarded this is where we chose... More

We stayed 3 nights at Palazzo Brunaccini. Arriving late in the evening by car was not easy at all. Palermo's narrow one-way streets are difficult to navigate and the GPS systems are not entirely up-to-date so it is inevitable to run into difficulties. The area surrounding the hotel is not one of the best (to put it mildly) so it... More

Palazzo Brunaccini is a great choice to explore Palermo. It is located in a very central and authentic area (Ballaro'), allowing most tourist sites to be visited in a <15min walk. The hotel also has a private (gated) parking. Rooms are big and nicely decorated. Service was excellent throughout our stay.

We went to this hotel on our honeymoon. Very stylish and good service. Really liked the restaurant staff. In the edgy part of town but makes it easy to walk everywhere. If travelling by car then check with hotel for directions as standard GPS takes you to dead-end alley. Driving in Palermo is chaotic and with very tight roads.
