This small boutique hotel was formerly a private residence. Rooms are extremely spacious, well appointed and bright. There is a sitting area in all rooms, and several have balconies. Front desk staff is warm and welcoming. They speak English well, and are most helpful for all your needs. Ice in the room - quick and courteous. Dinner reservations, directions etc.... More

As many people have mentioned, the location is a little unorthodox. It's right next to the Ballaro Market, which is either a plus or minus depending on your travel style and expectations. We walked from the train station through the market to get to the hotel (would highly recommend printing out maps beforehand or having GPS). As we stopped in... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your lovely review. We appreciate so much all your positive evaluations. We love our city and most of all the characteristic of our location, the mix of sound and flavor, the contrast between the real life which pulse in the market and the peace and relax of the hotel... so we're very happy that you... We drove through a couple of streets where prostitutes and drugdealers were working and then our luxurious hotel appeared. My room had two stories, dining table living room tv and full big bathroom downstairs and bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Two windows on the ceiling for star gazing all in a very contemorary clean decor. Service was patchy and to walk... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your kind judgement and review about the Hotel. We don't know from which street you arrive and we're desolated that you find a so bad street. About the suggestion to walk around the city without particulary jewels and handbag is not to worry you but just a precaution as in another big city of the... More

We spent two nights at this hotel during a 14-days tour of Sicily (9 hotels). As other fellow travellers have noted, the surroundings of the hotel in the heart of Palermo’s old city, near the Ballaro market create a peculiar atmosphere. We have, though, walked these streets and never felt anxious or threatened by the people hanging around. The hotel... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your review and for the score thet you give to our services and value! We're so happy for your judgement about the sourrondings...not everybody understand that! Arriving at Palazzo Brunaccini was an experience in itself as it is located in an area with many small streets, a market, and lots of local charm. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We also tried their restaurant, sitting outside in the courtyard and the food was simply amazing! It is close... More

We spent 4 nights here and were able to explore Palermo extensively. We spent our days walking all over the city which is quite beautiful. The worst área that we walked through in all those days was the last 200 yards to the hotel. There are drug dealers and other undesirables hanging out very close the front door which is... More

Dear Patsydog, thank you for the time that you dedicated to us writing your review! We're sorry that you don't appreciate neither the surrondings neither the furnitures and style of our Junior Suite Room. We mix the white desingn to old style furniture...and usually it is really appreciated! Best regards Adriana More

Everything about this hotel is good, it has nice staff, amazing food, magnificent rooms except for the terrible internet and it is in a location jam packed with drug dealers, if they changed location and their bandwidth, it would be by far the best place I have stayed at.

This is a beautiful restored villa in the heart of the old area of Palermo, only a couple of blocks from Quattro Canti. The staff was very helpful; the hotel was beautifully furnished on the public floors, and the breakfast was excellent. We had a suite that was very roomy and quiet. They have a chic area for a lounge... More

We stayed here for one night in July. All in all a good experience - very clean and nice rooms; we had a pleasant little (unfurnished) balcony. Room was clean and stylish (but the remains of an old kitchenette were still behind the otherwise tasteful closet doors - strange). As others have pointed out, the Brunaccini is not in the... More

My friend Susie and I were driving the entire Italian Coast line and came to Hotel Brunaccini...and were quite impressed as it's really quite a nice hotel with beautiful architecture.
