Visiting Palermo in January means using your imagination to appreciate how spectacular it can be with warmth and sunshine. But the Palazzo has year-round appeal, with its chic Italian design, well-appointed rooms and friendly staff. We had a 2-story suite with spacious terrace (unusable, unfortunately). Great bed and shower, peace and quiet. On our last night we dined on Chef... More

Getting the taxi from the bus at midnight was a little scary. As we drove to the hotel we were concerned about the area and the safety. But then we pulled up in front of this gorgeous building. The hotel was luxurious without being over the top. The staff were brilliant and the breakfast fantastic. The cannoli is a must!... More

We stayed in January so the hotel was quiet. The staff were really helpful and friendly, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Francesco was really helpful in recommending restaurants for us in the evening. Some people have commented on the area but it did not cause us a problem at all, yes it was lively in the evenings but... More

An easy walk from the train station took us to this pleasant boutique hotel. We booked it because it was one of the few that offers free Wifi in Palermo. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Service at breakfast was a bit slow but the food offering were excellent. Excellent location for walking to all sites. I particulary adored... More

This small boutique hotel was formerly a private residence. Rooms are extremely spacious, well appointed and bright. There is a sitting area in all rooms, and several have balconies. Front desk staff is warm and welcoming. They speak English well, and are most helpful for all your needs. Ice in the room - quick and courteous. Dinner reservations, directions etc.... More

As many people have mentioned, the location is a little unorthodox. It's right next to the Ballaro Market, which is either a plus or minus depending on your travel style and expectations. We walked from the train station through the market to get to the hotel (would highly recommend printing out maps beforehand or having GPS). As we stopped in... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your lovely review. We appreciate so much all your positive evaluations. We love our city and most of all the characteristic of our location, the mix of sound and flavor, the contrast between the real life which pulse in the market and the peace and relax of the hotel... so we're very happy that you... We drove through a couple of streets where prostitutes and drugdealers were working and then our luxurious hotel appeared. My room had two stories, dining table living room tv and full big bathroom downstairs and bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Two windows on the ceiling for star gazing all in a very contemorary clean decor. Service was patchy and to walk... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your kind judgement and review about the Hotel. We don't know from which street you arrive and we're desolated that you find a so bad street. About the suggestion to walk around the city without particulary jewels and handbag is not to worry you but just a precaution as in another big city of the... More

We spent two nights at this hotel during a 14-days tour of Sicily (9 hotels). As other fellow travellers have noted, the surroundings of the hotel in the heart of Palermo’s old city, near the Ballaro market create a peculiar atmosphere. We have, though, walked these streets and never felt anxious or threatened by the people hanging around. The hotel... More

Arriving at Palazzo Brunaccini was an experience in itself as it is located in an area with many small streets, a market, and lots of local charm. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We also tried their restaurant, sitting outside in the courtyard and the food was simply amazing! We spent 4 nights here and were able to explore Palermo extensively. We spent our days walking all over the city which is quite beautiful. The worst área that we walked through in all those days was the last 200 yards to the hotel. There are drug dealers and other undesirables hanging out very close the front door which is... More

Dear Patsydog, thank you for the time that you dedicated to us writing your review! We're sorry that you don't appreciate neither the surrondings neither the furnitures and style of our Junior Suite Room. We mix the white desingn to old style furniture...and usually it is really appreciated! Best regards Adriana More
