Had the misfortune to be accommodated in this hotel after a cancelled EasyJet flight stranded us in Palermo for an extra night. This was without a doubt the most awful hotel experience that I have ever had in my entire life. The first room we were given had foam in the side of the windows to try and make them... More

The lobby area of San Paolo looks nice, but the rooms are in serious need of a makeover. Everything is old/dated. And if you have a car, forget about easy parking....navigating around the hotel grounds on Friday night looking for a parking space was a total pain.

The hotel is located a bit from the center, about 3 miles, it seem old and a bit outdated. The breakfast is amazing and delicious, and the service is in top. The pool on the roof is nice though a bit small for the amount of guests. In general, if the hotel was maintained / modernized it will easy be... More

Hotel is far from 4*. Very basic, more like B&B. 1.there was around 2- 3 people who speaks english, others either pretend they dont understand or they shouldnt be working at reception. From all the hotel staff we met(there were lots of them) only 3 were really helpfull and nice. Others were ignorant and rude. 2.Only 1 bar and 1... More

This hotel may look nice but don't let its looks fool you. It's not in a good location, quite a long walk from anything, especially in the heat. Most of the staff is not very nice, and they're quite aggressive. When we ate at the restaurant both dinner and breakfast, they were very quick to clean the table even though... More

This place needs to be downgraded from the 4 stars. The hotel owner should be named and shamed. Sadly there are a few instant things this hotel could do to make it better. Unfortunately the last time anyone did anything to this hotel it would have been back in the 80's as it is the most dated hotel I have... More

Located on the outskirts of Palermo in a quite gloomy neighborhood. It costs 15 Euros for a taxy to the center of town. Simple and uninspiring breakfast. Basic food served to the table at dinner, with no buffet. The pool is not opened until June. It seems that the hotel serves mainly tourist groups seeking economical deals. Some rooms are... More

Although rated as 4 stars and having the facilities to be such, our stay in the hotel was extremely dissapointing. We were a part of a group (~50) physiscians and spousec for a profesional tour in Sicily, coming for a 3 night stay in Palermo, after a 3 days stay in Taorima region 4 star hotel which was very rewarding.... Ok but there is room for improvement . Bedroom carpets marked , no wifi working there the night we were there and beware the hotel will not take any responsibilty for anything left in your room . Pool was closed but it was out of season. Be careful in the shower it floods out onto the bathroom floor
