We stayed here recently with friends and we all enjoyed it. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful offering good local advice. The breakfast was particularly good. Our bedroom and balcony were ideal. Palermo has lots of attractions with many excellent eateries and bars. Cefalu and monreale are lovely if you have time to visit. We will return again -... More

This is a rather splendid old palazzo with superb public rooms, and it couldn't be any more central. It has an old-world aristocratic Sicilian atmosphere untainted by contemporary hotel design. Our double room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking a quiet central courtyard. It could certainly do with some modernisation, but then once it's done, people like me won't be able... More

The street & the frontage of the hotel are no indication of what's inside. The décor is opulent, the staff, very welcoming & helpful ( especially Veronica... grazia mille ). We got a cheap winter deal & were amazed at the breakfast included.

The hotel is very clean, had a great view of the city streets (we had a nice room on the 4th floor). The continental breakfast had a vast variety of ethic servings, I really enjoyed it. The hotel is centrally located, easy to walk all around the city. We came in early January when the streets were still lite up... More

A converted palace near the Quattro Canti and therefore ideally placed for sightseeing, church hunting on foot or whatever draws you to Palermo. Decor and rooms are absolutely first class. The staff are also absolutely first class in manners and helpfulness. We normally don't use the restaurants much of the hotels we visit for Capodanno (a riotous Italian affair with... More

The Centrale Palace hotel is a grandiose building. The décor, (painted ceilings, sculptures, pictures, etc), was magnificent. However, there is not a carpet or rug in the premises and consequently noise was an issue with people leaving their rooms and the Roof restaurant. Some of the furniture in the public areas could do with a little TLC but it was... More

We have stayed here a few times and love the location as it is so close to the cathedral, fish markets, main shopping streets and art galleries. The piace is clean, has beautiful smelling toiletries and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was also worth it and included cereals, pastries, fruit and hot options. The experience of eating in... More

Busy locale with comfortable accommodations. I arranged for some catering for a private flight back to the US - all of the food was very well prepared and packaged. Staff was very cordial and worked diligently to address and requests. I visited in July and September of 2007 and found the hotel to be conveniently located. Many restaurants and beautiful... More

This former palace was a great place to stay being so centrally located in the city being an easy walk to so many places including the market streets. The reception staff were a delight, being most friendly and helpful. The room was very well serviced and breakfast was very good. On one night we had an enjoyable dinner in the... More

In a beautiful located city of nearly one million this hotel is located in the heart and central core of ancient Palermo, Sicily. Transportation on different on and off again tourist buses for 10 to 22 euros depending on where you are going can be found nearby and are a great way to see the highlights of Palermo. This gem...
