This us an old and beautiful building in a very good location and they do a great job. The room (which was classified as a standard) was large, impeccably clean and well appointed. The bathroom was perfect and the bed was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful in both quality and variety. The hotel arranged a car to take us to the... More

I loved this hotel...five minutes from the cathedral on Via Vittorio Emmanuele, the main street of the old city. Easy walk north to Norman Palace and south to port and many old villas which are now museums. Rooms were fine, breakfast better than more expensive hotels I stayed in, and price very reasonable. Entryway is luxurious with old world charm.Staff... More

We booked this hotel for it's excellent location. It's on one of the main road. Via Vittorio Emanuele in central Palermo & we were not disappointed. The hop on hop off stop #3 is right cross the street from the hotel. The building is one of the old buildings that has its charm & great interior decoration. The rooms are... More

Centrale Palace Hotel's central location means that it's a perfect base if you want to spend a few days exploring Palermo. The hotel reception is stunning, as is the breakfast room. The breakfast in the hotel was wonderful and there wasn't a thing missing from the buffet spread. In fact, I'd challenge you to name something that they didn't have;... More

We stayed at Centrale Palace Hotel 4 nights (May 5-8, 2015) in Room 339 as part of Amber Roads Tours group. The first room I rejected because the plaster was falling down from the shower ceiling. Room 339 appeared OK - the AC worked well, nice bedding, and great towels. The first night I noticed 3 ants, the second night... More

Nice, old, fashionable hotel. Centrally located to most sights in Palermo. But unfortunately, the service was terrible. No car parking available unless you have pre-booked parking. The roof restaurant was "fully booked", even though we were staying at the hotel and there were seats available. When we asked the receptionist to recommend another restaurant, we were recommended 'Ristorante Il buongustaio',... More

Our tour group stayed three nights in the Centrale Palace Hotel. It is an older hotel with some pretensions of grandeur. It was comfortable and in a decent location, except the street in front was noisy and narrow, although fortunately the windows were pretty soundproof. Food was adequate.

A pleasant hotel on the whole but too many people- many groups- crammed in and echoing corridors with little or no soundproofing in the rooms - it isn't a plus point in a hotel to be able to identify from one's bed the exact reason one's neighbour is visiting the bathroom. Avoid 1st floor as they starting dragging chairs across... More

This is a beautiful old building with a lot of history. The room was very nice clean and with all modern amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was of a high standard for both the breakfast and evening meals. Its location is in the centre for all the major sites you wish to visit.

Hotel really well placed in the centre of Palermo. Great breakfast with wide choice of options. Staff friendly and helpful. Garage in which the porters park your car. Amazing roof top restaurant with great views and lovely food with attentive service. Downsides bath took an age to fill and there is building work going on to the rear presently which... More
