Centrally located, beautiful interiors, fabulous breakfast, professional staff. How could you not love having a dozen things to choose from for breakfast and then be eating in a room with crystal chandeliers, marble floors, white table cloths and frescoed ceilings? The restaurant on the roof is very good and probably has stunning views in the summer (still lovely in the... More

We slept there for only one night and took the presidential suite. If you want to do something special you never forget, try it too. It is a huge apartment. In fact it are 2 apartments with the same entrance door. Our kids loved it, They got lost in the huge space. One of the best features of this suite... More

Superb property, right in the city center, on the main street. This comes, of course, with some noise attached. The nice marble floor on the hallways also adds up to the noise level, as rooms aren't sound-proof. I had a hard smell, from sewage I assume, during the whole stay. No iron, even on demand. Laundry takes more than 24... More

I booked this hotel based on the reviews and information on booking.com. When we arrived the lobby was a little shabbier than the pictures depicted. I thought this was a bad sign. We were booked into room 121 which was a triple room as our adult daughter was traveling with us. While the room was quite clean and the beds... More

While touring Italy, we spent 3 nights at this magnificent hotel. It was centrally located in Palermo and afforded us the opportunity to walk the city a lot. Our fist night there we had a late and light dinner of the most excellent minestrone and a superb gelato. The rooms are superb and the breakfast selection was marvelous. Our favorite... More

We stayed 2 nights, first floor, room #127. As we got closer to our room, we got hit with the smell of sewage. We commented about it to the bellman who said the smell would clear as soon as he opened the window. He didn't during our stay. The couple we were traveling with, just a few doors down from... More

We stayed for 2 nights, and chose it because the hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to the central train station/bus station, as well as it's well deserved reputation. It is in the heart of downtown Palermo, a short walk to most restaurants, markets, and sights. Staff are helpful, and always available. Price was very competitive, and recommended... More

This lovely old hotel provides excellent facilities, we had a very nice room, breakfast was excellent, right in the heart of the old city, near most of the major attractions. However, there was an unpleasant smell around the corridors and in our room and from 5:30 in the morning there was a lot of noise. Crashing bottles, banging etc. Also,... More

Hotel was ok. Restaurant had very good food. The waitresses were very aloof and ignored you. We showed up late to the hotel after flying for 20+ hours. Hungry and sleep deprived. They weren't sure if we could have dinner at 10pm. Finally got food and wine, but weren't too happy about having to wait on us. The next night... More

Palermo is not my favorite city at all. Busy, dirty and loud. But the Centrale Palace is right in the middle of the city. On the outside it looks very blah. But inside it is beautiful. Great rooms and wonderful service. Breakfast was excellent each morning. They have a rooftop restaurant which is terrific - great food. But my favorite... More
