Its a pity there's no rating between "average" and "very good" as this hotel falls somewhere between the two. Its better than average and "just fine" for what we needed - value-for-money, clean and convenient. We only stayed one night with an early check-out so no opportunity to sample the breakfast but the rooms were recently renovated, clean and quiet,... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. We arrived at 12.15am and we heard at the reception that check in is from 2pm. They could have said it differently eg. We do not have any available room for early check in. We came back after 2pm,went into the room and guess what, they gave us an uncleared room which had... More

An old building turned into a modern hotel. It would seem the rooms are different sizes and shapes. Ours was at the back, very quiet and a decent size but with a boring view of other windows. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The shower room was separate from the main bathroom. The soap dispensers were very awkward... More

PaleontologWe had a junior suite for our three night stay and it was roomy and nicely fitted. The breakfast included was great with the staff helpful and friendly. We found the concierge staff unhelpful and difficult. This was in contrast to our other experiences. We asked for a couple of times for simple assistance which either did not occur or... More

Good location, really easy walking distance from many of Palermo's attractions. Clean room, separate dressing area, comfortable bed, spacious, marble lined bathroom. The main areas are a bit charmless as it is an old building which looks like many of the original features have been removed which is a bit of a shame it looks a bit generic and bland.... More

Receptionist very unfriendly bordering on rude. Great location. Cheap and nasty breakfast and some of the rooms are very noisy from the bar downstairs til 2am ! Otherwise room was good and bed comfortable. "Free wifi" only lasts for 1 hour per day which is frustrating and out dated !

Stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel looks quite new although it is not a new building. In the first night we've stayed in a room in the from of the building and then asked to change to a back room since the front rooms are very noisy, specially during the weekends. Back rooms are silent. On the plus side,... More

Only a very brief stay overnight in transit elsewhere but found the hotel clean and comfortable. Great location, room was more than satisfactory, and the staff were helpful when I really needed assistance. What more can you ask?

I strongly recommend against staying in this hotel. After experiencing concierges in Italy who consistently were helpful, welcoming and friendly, this hotel was the antithesis. It was not just one concierge, but all of them proved to be unhelpful and attitudinous. I asked one of them to confirm my plane reservation because I was not successful online and she initially... This hotel is modern and clean but also very easy and welcoming. The location is perfect for walking all the main areas in Palermo. Right by any number of restaurants, near shopping, attractions and the beach promenade and port. Good value and nice windows opening out on the street life, without being too noisy.
