I really wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel, but it was well-rated and the price hard to beat. I'm so glad we stayed! The staff were very warm and welcoming, and very helpful with advice and arranging taxis and such. Extremely personable, yet professional. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with all needed amenities. We slept well... More

great location, good price we booked 2 rooms, one single and bigger-34m2 -double We had quites rooms, the only noice we heard is the chuch bells early morning. there was some mix-up as we arrived early morning, like 12.30am and the night-porter mixed the rooms, so our son was happy with the big room and bath, but our room was... Staffs are very friendly, excellent value for money, very secure and safe feeling, free wifi, breakfast included better than some hotels i've stayed in! Will definitely stay here again next time with some more friends.

It is unusual for me to write a bad review. I often give hotels and restaurants the benefit of the doubt and prefer to withhold judgment when I am in doubt about a place, however, this time I feel I need to warn travelers about this hotel. We made a reservation and specifically requested a quiet room. We received an... More

If you want a good nights sleep DO NOT STAY HERE. We made a specific request for a quiet room because of other reviews. We received an email saying that our request had been confirmed. When we got to the hotel we were taken to a room facing the main thoroughfare (Vita Vittorio Emanuele), a street full of activity--including bars... More

Like a previous reviewer, I also wanted to choose an inbetween rating of average and very good. As you will have seen in previous reviews, people have moaned about getting a good night's sleep. This was also the case for myself. However I would have swapped my 'inner' room that overlooked a lightwell (no courtyard) for an 'outer' room that... More

The room was beautiful and we had a very nice bed. The bathroom was also nice but the shower was extremely tricky to turn on. I can't even tell you how I finally managed to pull up on a tiny metal knob with wet fingers. The location was great esp. since we arrived ahead of others on our tour and... More

I had trouble choosing between ratings as this hotel was certainly better than average, but not by a whole lot. The location is good for visiting the historic sites of Palermo, rooms are larger than average and well appointed, and the breakfast is plentiful and served in a lovely room. On the other hand, the bar has very limited hours... More

Palazzo Sitano is near the end of via Vittorio Emanuele where the gate opens to the waterfront and port filled with boats. It is also across from one entrance to the Mercato Vucceria. Although the entry room is small, the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We had a balcony room of the 4th floor overlooking the small road opening... More
