Wow! I found B&B 900 in the Lonely Planet guide for Sicily and my stay there could not have been any better. Dario bends over backwards to make sure his guests have an excellent time in Palermo and beyond. I loved the breakfasts (try Dario's homemade yogurt, the best anywhere..) , the room was great, overlooking the street with a... More

I highly recommend staying with Dario in Novecento. This is a perfect B&B accommodation in a large city. The location is unbeatable - central but not noisy (at least in my room). The service was impecable and the breakfast was tasty and organic served in a sunny room. Although the facilities are not on suite, they are private and the... More

First off, I want to give high marks to our host, Dario. He was generous to a fault and ever so patient with the ignorant American (that would be me). He gave us excellent advice on where to go see beautiful churches and museums as well as helping us find some of the best places to eat - including Rosa... More

I stayed here with my family, from our 80-year old parents to our 5 year old son. We were all very comfortable and we truly enjoyed our three nights at Novecento. The rooms are furnished with lovely old real-wood furniture (nice new mattresses, though!), some have a private balcony, and the bathrooms are brand new (although all baths are private,... More

My friend and I started our Sicilian adventure by staying for two nights at this gem, very easy to find close to the airport bus that terminates at the station. Dario is a wonderful host, supplying us with a map and writing on it places to visit. Our room had a balcony with a glimpse of the sea, over a... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our three nights here. The B&B is on the 5th floor, but there is an elevator. The B&B was always quiet, even though it is centrally located within Palermo. We were close to the market, train station, restaurants and shops. Our bedroom was large, clean and comfortable. We had our own private bath outside the room, which was... More

We were an extended family of 5 traveling through Sicily and we began our adventure at the B&B Novecento. We were pleased to get a warm welcome, lots of helpful information and good beds to crash in after an all-night plane ride. The bedrooms are large, high-ceilinged and nicely furnished. It was very quiet up on the 5th floor even... More

We had a delightful stay at B&B Novecento. It's in the heart of Palermo, a few blocks from the train station. Dario was a wonderful host; he even contacted the municipal office of my grandparents' hometown to find out how I could obtain information. Great breakfasts, nice bathrooms, a great play to stay!

We stayed three nights. Our room is large and has a beautiful decoration. The bathroom is separated from our room, but very near it. The private bathroom is clean. Breakfast is substantial. Fresh juice, hand-made cake is very delicious! The B&B is near the station of Palermo, a good location for tourists. The host, Dario is friendly, helpful and courteous.... More
