This review should be about the property, but I have to start with the owner/manager Giuseppe who can change anything he touches into gold. He indeed had done in Palazzo Pantaleo. Placed on the second floor of a beautiful Palermo building that had undergone extensive renovations for three years, Palazzo Pantaleo offered a spacious room with a huge bathroom, and... More

This hotel really lives up to its wonderful reviews. The owner Guiseppe is a lovely man who is really friendly and helpful. The Palazzo is in a good location within this vibrant city, but quiet and calm off the main street. Our room was large and beautifully decorated, with good attention to detail, a fridge and lovely toiletries and towels.... More

My wife and I spent two nights here in early August and loved it. The rooms spacious and welcoming and the bathrooms and showers were excellent. Great location for walking Palermo. Access is through a courtyard so off the main street and very quiet. Beautifully restored third floor of lovely old building (with exclusive elevator access!), intricate tile work and... More

Almost like home! Palazzo Pantaleo had a warm and positive atmosphere. We were met at the gate, welcomed and treated like old friends. Spacious room dressed in past glory. Nice and clean bathroom with large and comfy towels. Lovely breakfast with lot of fresh pastry and fruits. The hotel is centrally located and we could easily reach many attractions by... More

For our first stay in Palermo we found Palazzo Pantaleo and were impressed by the reviews and comments about Giuseppe. He was wonderful! Even after he had to rescue us when we got lost near Palermo! We stayed 4 nights and then 3 nights later in the week, longer than we expected because it was raining on the other side... More

I absolutely adored this place and didn't want to leave! Giuseppe was fantastic, even booking a trip for me to Mount Pellegrino in 5 minutes for 9am my first morning! He also walked me to the bus stop when I left, which was great because I was running a bit behind. I can't wait to come back here and stay... More

Huge, clean and lovely rooms. Great breakfast of fresh fruits, granola, yoghurt, bread, cheese, freshly squeezed juice, and of course the usual array of Sicilian pastries. Generous supply of soft, white and large towels in the bathroom. Free and safe parking. Centrally located and yet away from the noisy bustle of Palermo. Mr Guiseppe, owner and manager as well as... This was a perfect spot to stay in Palermo. The location worked well for walking to various parts of the city, and it even has an off street parking spot if you have a car. The rooms are great--very large by European standards; clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were really good with a wide variety of choices and Giuseppe was... More
