This place is unique, it is run by Giuseppe, who is the opitomy of a small hotelier. He is attentive and has a wonderful charm that brings calm around him. Nothing is too much trouble. He make you feel you are a guest in his home, not in a hotel. He shouls be the model for many more. The building... More

Palazzo Pantaleo was everything we were looking for and even better than expected. It has an excellent location, our room was large, confortable and quiet, I loved breakfast. You can see that the owner really takes care of the place and pay attention to the details. Giuseppe was always helpful and nice to us. I would definitely stay at Palazzo... More

We flew into Palermo from Napoli on a cold, rainy night. Got a taxi to the B&B because I didn't want to pull luggage down an unknown street in the rain from the bus stop. Now, having stayed there and knowing the neighborhood, I would be OK with the bus/tram stop. It is a very safe neighborhood. In fact, the... More

My husband and I spent our last two nights of an eight week trip through Sicily at the Palazzo...it was wonderful ! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location was very convenient, and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to visit. Best of all was the service provided by Giuseppe and his staff. The... More

This B&B in the heart of Palermo was perfect in all respects. Comfortable, spacious, quiet, good breakfast, friendly and helpful host. Although its address in on a very busy street, it is in a courtyard one building back from the street, so very quiet (yet good light). Added bonus was the airport bus for $8 only one block away.

Car parking in courtyard of B&B very convenient and serviced by attendants. Great advice in reaching Airport from Palermo and shopping in town. Palatial, ample rooms Great breakfast even when leaving at 4 am.

My husband and I spent our first two nights in Sicily at this lovely, charming and peaceful B&B and continued to rave about it, and the owner Giuseppe Scaccianoce (not Schiaccianoci!) for the rest of our two week holiday. We can't imagine to have stayed anywhere else and if we ever have the good fortune to return, we will definitely... More

Giuseppe Scaccianoce, the truly gentle gentleman who owns and operates this delightful and intimate B&B, took the top floor of a palazzo built in the mid-800s, and made it into a small but wonderful home away from home. He added an external elevator ("Remember, don't push the door open; it opens by itself") so the accommodations are wheelchair and disability... More

I was welcomed by Giuseppe to his delightful B&B after a very long journey from the western US. It was dark when I arrived in Palermo via the airport shuttle and I was deposited in front of the Teatro Politeamo. Thanks to Giuseppe 's excellent emailed directions, I discovered I was within a three minute walk from the bus drop-off!... More

The rooms are very spacious and clean with very good en-suite bathrooms. Because the rooms face an off street courtyard they are very quiet even though you are in the center of the old city. The breakfast is excellent. But the best of all is Guiseppe the owner who went out of his way to help us (Vueling Airline lost... More
