As one who often travels alone, it's important to find a great Bed and Breakfast and Globetrotter is just that! As soon as I arrived, I received a super warm welcome from the desk and was shown to my room which looked even better than the pictures--it was so cozy and clean. When I came down for more info on... more

We spent 4 nights over a week at the Globetrotter, the staff were very helpfull and friendly, we explored the city, Etan and we used local buses to go further afield. The rooms were clean and quiet and we could use the kitchen if we wished. We have a lovely time. Thankyou. Tracy and Tony King more

Was tired from the local youth hostel and needed a quiet place to sort my stuff and relax. The staff took me in, spoiled me and even kept me company. A social breakfast later and i found myself in the local ruins with another group from the B&B. Great value, clean and highly recomended. more

We stayed there for 2 nights on October 14 and 16 2009. It was raining heavily the first night in Catania and the water came in from the window and moist my luggage. The shower looked like it had not been cleaned for a while. The second morning, we both took a cold shower because there was no hot water.... more

I chose the B&B mainly because of its location - right in the very center of Catania, very convenient!. It was a grat choice, exactly what i was hoping to find: a friendly atmosphere, good facilities and service. Also, clean and good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place! more

Hi guys, I was a few months ago in Italy / Sicily and slept in that very friendly, nice and beautiful hotel which was called B&B Globetrotter. My first impression was very positive of that hotel, the receptionist (her name was Sevgi-i didn't forget her name! ;)) was very helpful, friendly and very attentive. She gave me a lot of... more

Stayed at the Globetrotter for one night, using it as a base to explore Catania. The staff were very helpful and their command of English was excellent, recommending a few local restuarants to us which was most helpful due to our late arrival. The location was very central and allows you to easily explore what Catania has to offer -... more

I've been there with friends...I saw a lot of B&Bs until now but not like that one....clean, friendly, nice atmosphere, central....the girl of the stuff (silvia) helped us with everything, renting a car, doing an excursion on etna, she gave us a lot of good advices. If I return to Catania I'll stay at the Globetrotter without doubts..... more
