Great location close to a variety of restaurants and easy walking distance for the sights of Catania, staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We used the limited number of hotel parking spaces ( at an additional cost) which gave a good reassurance that our car would remain damage free ...car parking in Sicily can be risky !

Inside of room is a nice "old noble house" feel. Slightly awkward entry, going in a huge building then immediately needing to go up 4 stories. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a lovely breakfast terrace.

A charming hotel two of the floors above the actual Manganelli Palace, reached by an old fashioned elevator. Attentive staff made us welcome right away suggest a nearby restaurant for lunch. Street Food modern Sicilian style, great choice. Lovely roof terrace for breakfast. Just 140 metres away across the top of the square is a great local family restaurant Glamour,... More

Interesting experience, because the hotel is on the fourth floor of a part of an old palace. Some of the rooms are nice, but we assume they are the more expensive ones. The best part of the palace is not accessible for guests. Our room was a cheep one, but also with a (uninterestingly) decorated ceiling. There was a faint... More

The good: clean and quiet rooms with comfortable beds and working air conditioning. Bathrooms and shower gigantic by Italian standards. (Stayed in a very good hotel in Rome where if you dropped the soap, you opened the shower door with your butt.) Recently redone with such details as frameless shower doors. Very good location. Very helpful desk staff, who arrange... More

Great location for Catania. Within easy walking distance of Duomo etc. Adequate, basic breakfast. Reception on 4th Floor accessed from lift big enough for 2 people so not ideal if wheelchair bound. under going refurbishment. Helpful staff.

At the fourth floor of a beautiful historical building in the heart of Catania. Rooms vary a lot in size, quality and atmosphere (which is rather strange given the fact that prices are always the same). The hotel is clean but many misfunctioning can make life difficult (for instance there was no hot water in my room and it was... More

arrival was a bit confusing at first, but once settled it became home.the staff was kind and helpful, plus very knowledgeable.the room was perfect with a king sized bathroom.location was perfect close to all, lively neighborhood with students and if using a car, they have reserved parking at 10e per night.the hotel is modern and clean.my only recommendation would be larger soaps in the... An unusual hotel centrally situated. Although called a palace most rooms are fairly standard and ours was great for a 3 night stay. Quiet with views of the central courtyard and good modern toilet/shower room. Entrance is unusual at side of the square-you buzz yourself in and then take small lift (2 person) only to reception on 4th floor. Breakfast... More
