As other reviewers say, this is in a good location, and the hotel itself is nice. They serve a mediocre breakfast (which we didn't get to eat on our 3rd day, as we had early-morning check-out to the airport --- plus they offered us no discount or even any food to take with us). The surrounding 'hood is very dirty!... More

It is located on the main street, very close to the center, but still it is very quiet and the windows are doubled, so it is really peaceful at night. The owner speaks English and was very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean, breakfasts were acceptable. The stairway is shabby, but the b&b interior is really very nice. It is... More

This B&B worked very well as a place to base ourselves to see Catania and Sicily - 5mins walk to the town centre and a 5mins to the main train/bus station to get around Sicily. However, it was not quite the smooth stay that we would have preferred. The room with a balcony we booked was not ready on the... More

Is on the main street but it is a very quiet street. The hotel is on the 3rd floor but the stairs is so long it kind of climbing 5 storey. Breakfast included and is acceptable except the coffee as the capsule is all puff up in their packaging so the coffee is terrible. Either is expired or not kept... More

Close to train, market, Duomo and shopping. Homey, comfortable rooms, clean, modern and well equipped with frig and kettle. Lovely solarium for breakfast. Staff was very accommodating and helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations and information on the area. Do not let the exterior of the building fool you, once inside the hotel is spotless, modern and comfortable. You do have... More

Sangiuliano 114 is a beautiful boutique hotel located in central Catania, an easy 8 minute walk to the station, and close to the Duomo and the shopping district. The rooms are very quite and modern. Michele, the proud owner was very welcoming and recommended some wonderful family-owned restaurants serving traditional non-expensive and delicious food. There is no elevator, but Michele... More

Really enjoyed my stay at this lovely b&b. It has plenty of charm and Michele makes you feel very welcome in truly Sicilian way. The rooms are spacious and very quiet. It's also very convenient for this lovely untouched city of Catania. Good base all round!

I stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a trip to see mount etna. The owner Michele was outstanding. Had excellent communication with him prior to arriving and he was also able to recommend a tour group to visit mount etna and more importantly on my arrival Michele pointed me in the right direction for my first lunch in Catania... This bed and breakfast is more like a beautiful little boutique hotel, hidden behind a colourless wall on a street covered in graffiti with no pedestrian walkway. It is the least spot you would expect such a gem. The interior is very tastefully renovated, with a good eye for details. The rooms, every one a little bit different from the... More

‘A great B & B to stay’ - Very convenient location for the train and bus station. Especially handy if using the airport bus to travel into Catania. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Sicilian touring holiday; 4 nights at this B & B in all. Both rooms we stayed in were very stylishly decorated, modern... More
