A really lovely Hotel well maintained, courtyard full of plants and flowers with balconys overlooking it. We had room 202, perfect in every way. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful nothing was to much trouble. Close to the station and bus station, a good starting point to visit other areas and to get to the narrow gauge train... Hotel in a ancient palace close to the railway station, the Street around are not the best but quiet at all... the staff is gently and professional, the rooms like in an old rich house but needs little works to begin " very nice". Breakfast is ok for a 3 starìs hotel and the price is ok.

Although the surroundings are not attractive, the hotel is well maintained with a very nice patio full of flowers. We had a comfortable double room (#201) with a balcony over the patio and a large bathroom. The city centre is only a 10' walk. The hotel has a locked parking place.

I spent just a few hours, taking advantage of the hotel's excellent location, near the train station + the airport shuttle bus. Everything was perfect: room 108 was near the hotel public bathroom but very quiet. My single room was small but sparrkling clean and appointed just right. The front desk staff were very helpful, as was the lobby computer... More

I had exchanged emails with Front Desk regarding my stay. They were very helpful and friendly, and quite frankly make you more tolerant of the shortcomings. I arrived early and was pleasantly surprised to be given keys to my room. The bathroom had quite a mildew odor. Had to keep the door closed. I was just staying one night to... More

This gem of a hotel is absolutely perfect. Less than five minutes from the train station the rooms are spotless and the terrace is filled with flowers. Just around the corner is a restaurant run by Carmella and her husband The food is made fresh everyday and the limoncello is to die for Hotel staff speak perfect English and the... More

Tucked away down a side street near the rail station, the Hotel Villa Romeo is an oasis of calm in bustling Catania. This charming and quirky hotel has two internal courtyards; one covered, so you can use it even when it’s raining, and one open to the sun. Both provide a relaxing place to sit in the evening. The bedrooms... More

Helpful staff, comfortable and clean room, good breakfast and very close to Railway and bus stations. Not a long walk into the city centre but an interesting one. I enjoyed staying here and thought the décor was curious.

I wanted a hotel convenient for the railway station in Catania and chose this property. The location was idea, just a couple of minutes walk away from the station. Check in was smooth and easy and the room was spacious and equipped to a satisfactory standard. The room had doors out onto a balcony, but with shutter doors the room... More

The Hotel Villa Romeo is easy to get to from Catania airport. The Alibus to the city stops at the Central Rail Station, which is across the road from the hotel. Although located at a busy road, I didn't hear any traffic in my room. Rather, the room had access to a nice, sheltered patio with plenty of plants. All... More
