I would like to make a note of carefulness of the hotel's receptionists ,especially,Federico Guastella. He can give you advice on everything you want to know about. Also we enjoyed cleanness and space in rooms as well as coziness of the small green garden from outside our room.also this hotel is situated next to the main bus station .

We chose this hotel as it is easy to access from the airport - a few minutes' walk from the bus stop outside the train station (bus to and from airport). It's a real oasis inside - various courtyard gardens full of beautifully kept plants and flowers - the photographs don't really do it justice. We had a room opening... More

After a fairly miserable day we found ourselves stranded in Catania for the night. We chanced upon this hotel and it was excellent. The exterior doesn't look anything special but the location is excellent (right next to the train station and a short walk from Plaza Duomo). Things just get better from there. We had been staying in a different... More

The hotel is beautiful from inside, big, clean comfortable rooms. The people at the reception were incredibly nice, willing to help. A huge balcony and a delicious breakfast. Great hotel, good experience, amazing people.

A lot of people would be staying in Catania as it is an entry point to Sicily so the Villa Romeo's position directly across the road from the public bus that leaves for the airport every 30 minutes is a boon. The trip from the airport o the Central Railway station, near the hotel is direct but the trip back... More

The hotel itself is very pleasant: the rooms are large (with high ceilings) and extremely well decorated. There is an inner courtyard in which it's pleasant to sit early morning or late afternoon (there's too much sun at midday). Breakfast was fine with the usual selection of bread and rolls, cheese, ham, pre-cooked scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, yoghurt, biscuits, tea... More

One of the best 3-star hotels in Catania. Furnished in romantic italian style with a small however a very beautiful botanic atrium, very clean and cousy. The stuff at the reception was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy, retativley large with a fridge, air-conditioner, hair-dryer, tv and a safe. Some of the rooms had small balconies, others had... More

Stayed at Hotel Villa Romeo in Catania for 2 nights at the end of our tour of Sicily. It is conveniently close to the railway and bus stations and suited us as we were getting the train to Rome. A very pleasant hotel with large rooms and a peaceful inner courtyard garden near the breakfast room which some rooms open... More
