Stayed for two nights, and whilst walking around town I found nothing that could compare to this hotel / bed and breakfast for the all round package. It had everything that I needed including; good clean bedroom, plasma tv, good clean and modern bathroom, a sea view (depending on where they put you) and free wireless internet! I saw the hotel on expedia - why it is advertised as a hotel I do not know as it is bed and breakfast. Thank God we asked to be picked up from the airport as we wouln't have found it otherwise! we stopped in front of a dodgy gate with no sign at all. We went up 2 floors... more

The hotel is under complete scaffolding in what is probably the poorest, most run-down area of Catania. Step out and walk down the road for about 3 mins and you find yourself in the middle of kerb crawling area with prostitutes sitting on stools outside buildings waiting for 'custom'.
