stayed one night on the way back home.. Great set of staff at this place. They fall over backwards to help you out. Rooms were clean and id the job, small fridge, big bathroom. It could do with with a refab, but hey, it's cheap and cheerful. excessive breakfast to boot. It's in the centre of town, close to the... More

Centrally located 3* hotel. Need a bit of a refurbishment. But is adequate for a Short stay. The double bed is actually 2 single beds put together. Large bathroom. No lift. No parking. On a fairly noisy road but the rooms are sound proof when windows are closed.

This lovely hotel was located a 20minute walk away from the bus terminal. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator to take us to our room on an upper floor was very small, so much so that two people and two suitcases did not fit. Our room was very small in comparison to the others we stayed in... The room looked somewhat dated, but who cares?! It was clean and comfortable and within walking distance of the sights. They also arranged a Mt. Etna tour for us. The staff is very friendly and the price is right. I would stay here again.

Hotel Novecento may not be situtated in the most salubrious street of Catania but once there, it is perfectly decent and a very friendly hotel, a mere ten minute stroll to the Duomo via the imposing Teatro Massimo making this hotel extremely central. Our quadruple room was spacious and quiet and very comfortable with a charming bathroom. The breakfast was... More

Chose this hotel because it was so convenient both to the Station and the Port (we were leaving by the Malta ferry) It's a typical city break hotel, and it does what it does excellently without frills. The rooms are small, but all you can expect in a big town, the a/c was good and quiet too, the reception staff... More

Double standard room: nice, quite small but clean and with AC working fine (very important in summer time!. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner though. Private parking with extra fee is available, but the parking lot is a block away (so it's not right beside the hotel). I got charged 2 euros for a 0,5l bottle of water,... More

The hotel is situated near the historical city center and it is very close to the airport bus station. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and speaks good english, rooms are very classy and decorated with good taste. Breakfast was lovely and impressive, everything was delicious, not a tipical italian breakfast. Too bad not all the hotels look so... More

On the edge of the happening area of Catania, this hotel is nicely located and the service is friendly and welcoming, rooms surprisingly large and comfortable at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was good, too. If you first approach it at night walking from the train station you might think the area is quite scary, but it is absolutely fine... More
