We also put in a request for a quiet room, after reading other reviews would confirm that the front rooms overlook steps that transform in the evenings as seating areas for adjacent restaurants. We stayed in the Il Principe for 2 nights and had a great time there. We received a free upgrade to a suite so cannot fault the room. The staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. They organised our tour and hotel pick-up to Mt.Etna. Super location - only footsteps from the historic Piazza Duomo. Highly Recommended ! more
