We stayed at the Una for one night before travelling on to Siracusa. We wanted a hotel centrally located to get from the airport easily as it wasan evening arrival. We were not disappointed. The welcome was swift and professional and we were surprisingly upgraded from a Classic to a 2 roomed suite. A lovely surprise with all the extras... more

The guidebooks say this is a £350+pn hotel we paid £100pn online and stayed for the week. At that price it's just worth the money. The UNA websites paints a very good picture but unfortunately you have to read it like an estate agents listing: “A prestigious building dating back to the early 1900s, in the artistic and commercial heart... more

I was in Catania few several days on the way to a wedding in Central Sicily. I was in Italy with my husband (a Tuscan) and went to Sicily a few days ahead of him to tour of museums and churches in the area (while he spent more time with the family in Tuscany). Since I was traveling alone, my... more

I really liked this hotel! Excellent service nice clean decor and a well deserved refuge from Catania itself. Citycenter almost opposite one of the best departmentstores and the local buzzy market is round the corner. For being an italian hotel the attempt at buffetbreakfast is not bad at all. Start off with a glass of Cava and you will not... more

Very convenient location, as you can visit the main attractions of Catania walking from UNA; which is a great advantage specially at night when the city center gets a spectacular look. We loved the terrace from where we could look to Etna while taking a granita or drinking a cocktail and eating some delicious food tahen from the happy hour... more

We were originally booked in at Il Principe but when we arrived we were told that the hotel was having problems with their water and so we were being sent to Una Hotel. At the reception we were told that the only available room they had was a suite so very luckily we were upgraded for our 2 nights. The... more

Chose the hotel as a result of reading tripadvisor comments - we were not disappointed. Chose Catania as close to airport and as we wanted to travel round Sicily by train. It appeared to be a convenient base. Train and bus station a good step away but within walking distance. The hotel didn't disappoint. Booked a suite. Two storey with... more

Back in my city after few years I booked a room a this hotel. The hotel is very well kept and location is perfect right in the heart of "Catania Vecchia" (Old Town) near the faboulous fish market where you can find amazingly fresh and rare sea urchins and any other kind of mediterranean fish. The rooms very nice and... more

I stayed at Una Palace with a group of friends in February. It was our second stay at the hotel, which we like for its wonderfully convenient location in the center of town and for its rooftop bar. On my first stay at the Una Palace, I was upgraded to a super deluxe suite with a giant bedroom with a... more
