The location is wonderful on the sea promenade of Catania. The rooms are more than confortable and offer all what a client may wish. Breakfast is correct. The staff is helpful and kind, probably is a characteristic of the Sicial.

A week here on business and It proved to be a good choice. In a nice part of Catania, by the sea with great views of "smouldering" Mt Etna. The food was good and there are lots of local coffee shops bars etc nearby, even a supermarket next door. The pool was good with a real deep end and it... More

Perfect location in heart of Catania, with sea view rooms, huge pool and private beach/solarium terrace. Though Catania is not the best place to stay in Sicily, this hotel upgraded our stay. Beata&Gabor,Hungary

What????? For starters, it doesn't help that I did not like the city of Catania at all (I didn't feel safe, it was very dirty, no one was friendly, etc.), but this hotel was not even an escape from the city. First, I got to my hotel, which I intentionally booked because it had a "Mount Etna view" - in... More

Value for money. Rooms were clean and tidy, so was the shower. Was positiv surpriced that two toothbrushes and toothpaste was among the personal amenities, which in general was of high quality. Slippers and bathrope was also nice. Some of the personal could benefit from more english lessons. And breakfast should be filled up more often. Btw first time I... More

The rooms were standard size however, when we and other customers complained about not being able to adjust our air conditioning (it showed 26C deg, we were first advised that it was centrally controlled by the desk and that they would fix it from their end (our room became very hot and stuffy). We were then told the next day... More

Not so many plaices to stay in Catania expecting high standards. But hotel Nettuno is also not a miracle. Everything is wreaked and teared inside ant outside. I tried to close our room's balcony door and the handle stayed in my hand...Hotel is placed at sea promenade 3 km from city center. Yes ,we had sea view. But promenade itself... More

This hotel ticked most of the boxes for a mens veterans hockey team playing in a tournament at Catania. The staff were very welcoming ( the reception staff in particular) and the breakfast each morning was excellent. Given that we tour with our own pianist , the piano in the bar area was much appreciated. Yes, the rooms are a... More

We too stayed at this hotel as the final part of an escorted Saga tour to Southern Italy and felt it didn't live up to the overall standard of the holiday. The room was far too small for a double room, the bathroom was even smaller and the shower cubicle even smaller again. It was almost impossible to move while... More
