This is a really lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. There is an unusually large swimming pool which was fairly under-utilised. We were surprised by the average age of the guests, which seemed to be around 30 (apart from us!) My husband and I stayed at the Romano Palace for a week and had a great time. Lovely balcony, pool with jacuzzi jets, and breakfast options. The staff were excellent with good English and they appreciate any novice attempts at Italian too. Stayed for a week at the beginning of September and the hotel is only 10 minutes from the Airport (taxi is 20 euros).
