We have been in Catania for Mario Biondi's concert. It has been a fantastic week end, in Taormina and Catania. We had great expectation on the hotel given it claims to be 5 stars luxury hotel. We can say that the 5 stars are not deserved at all. We stayed in a room at the ground floor without natural light... More

We stayed here for one night as we wished to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. We liked it, the children liked it and it was reasonably priced considering the season. That said, the pool bar lunch was expensive and not exactly delicious. However, dinner was lovely (try the angus beef) and the staff was most... More

The hotel is very nice and the staff are very helpful, and can mostly speak English. The rooms are very nice and clean with almost en thing one can wish fore. The pool and service there is exelent. The restaurant served the best meal we have had while being in Sicily. The only small downsides are it's a little pricy,... More

We booked this hotel for one week. The website, the brochures, everything seems to be perfectly in line with what you can expect from a 5* hotel until... you arrive. I've travelled the world around from sleeping in tents to 5*L hotels. My expectations should be met. I am not difficult when it comes to details. But in this case,... More

We stayed here as it was the chosen hotel for the Catania Tango Festival 2015, a beautiful property totally wasted, The staff was very friendly but it seems the management wants to run the hotel 'economically'. Rooms are nice and comfortable 3-4 star decor but very poorly lit. We're smelling humidity when we arrived and every evening when we returned.... More

I stayed as a single traveller the night before I had an early flight from the nearby airport. This is supposed to be the only 5star hotel in the whole Catania area!!! Although service from personnel is prompt, facilities are definitely not worth even 4stars. The room was super tiny, I have stayed in more comfy 3star hotels!!! bathroom was... More

Stayed 2 weeks at the Romano and was pleased with my stay. It was for business so location was relative to the office, for someone staying in Catania I would recommend it. For someone staying in Sicily, there are likely better accommodations on the island elsewhere. The restaurant is 5 star, everything I had was excellent albeit the price was... More

I know this sounds crazy but we had a pretty hard time finding this hotel. That said from the valet parking through to check in, no problems. The room was clean and comfortable. We did not have a balcony but we were only staying one night so no worries this booking was based on locality to airport only. The hotel... More

We spent our honeymoon here early June this year. We were both so excited as we'd never been to iSicily before. The hotel knew it was our honeymoon as the travel agent had made a note on the booking. To be honest I don't really know where to start with this place -- it looks amazing but most of the... More
