You feel real welcome in this hotel, the staff is very kind. They park your car on their parking place if available. You can have breakfast outside and it's very quiet! Only the beds are a littlebit hard. But for sure a nice hotel!

We have just stayed at this hotel for a short break and found it very difficult to fault for the money. It has a beautiful courtyard where you can sit and eat breakfast or dine in the evening. The room was clean, comfortable, the free minibar is a nice touch. I didn't need to use my ear plugs as the... More

We stayed 3 nights at Katane Palace which we really enjoyed. The hotel is well located, close to the via Etna, main street where you find all shops and restaurants. From ''gardino bellini'' park you can see Etna. The reception is like in a small family business hotel, you will not find it in any 4* hotels however they try... More

We spent 3 nights at the hotel and found it a nice relaxing place to be whilst in a big noisy city. The lovely internal courtyard was particularly nice. Breakfast was OK but doesn't live up to the fantastic food served in the restaurant, this is expensive but worth it! Room and bathroom were a good size, and it was... More

There are different opinion about the character of Catania. But a stay at the hotel makes everything good and pleasant. Large rooms, daily refills of refreshments in the mini bar, generous breakfast buffet (which had been replenished when needed) and an inviting atrium to relax. The hotel comes with a restaurant which we did not frequent. The menu, however, had... More

Not a palace but a solid place to stay in a very sketchy city. Staff and parking were awesome. Also the restaurant is FIRST CLASS. I had the best hotel food I have ever had at this restaurant. The free minibar is smart and nice touch. Breakfast runs out so arrive early.

We stayed on two occasions at the Katane Palace Hotel. We made our choice based upon Trip Advisor reviews. The hotel is clean and well appointed. The rooms are of a very generous size and the soft drink mini bar is free. English is spoken by all key members of staff. The location is about a 10 minute walk from... More

A quick way to explain this hotel from very first impressions is: Under promise and Over deliver. We were not too sure regarding the free parking nearby and we were allowed to park just in front of the hotel entrance. Booked a Room Only and breakfast was complimentary included. Mini bar was free and refilled daily. Lovely looking hotel, staff... More

Although The Katane Palace is not a palace, it is a clean, quiet and comfortable tourist hotel. Although not directly located in the center, all attractions and transport points can be reached by foot. The rooms are very large and comfortable but might need a fresh coat of paint and a general upgrade concerning electronics, ie tv. The breakfast is... More

We stayed 4 sleepless nights at this hotel. I couldn't close my eyes because of the constant and horrible noise of the very old AC system, even with earplugs. We tested 3 different rooms but no change. We should have left the hotel in the first palace although we appreciated the small courtyard and the staff was quite nice.
